There are many reasons to have a lifestyle newborn session in the comfort of your home.

Overall, lifestyle newborn sessions offer a more intimate and personal approach to capturing the precious moments of a newborn’s early days, creating timeless memories for the family to cherish.

They are MARRIED! Eve and Casey celebrated their wedding last weekend with friends and family at the .

The entire day was absolutely magical. Eve and Casey had a vision of a whimsical light and airy wedding with summer vibes. Dusty blue, white and pink colors were reflected in all the details.
I loved that Eve let her Bridesmaids choose their dresses. They all looked amazing together!
The groom’s Mom hand painted the tapered candles and the long center table was highlighted by a beautiful engraved white and blue tablecloth.

I feel extremely lucky and grateful that I was able to be there to capture all the details and great moments for them!

Cathy and Rob met while in college in Maryland.

Rob really wanted to surprise Cathy for the proposal so he planned a romantic dinner date last August. After a few drinks at their favorite bar, they headed over to Liberty State Park. As they were walking towards to water to take a picture, Rob got on one knee and asked Cathy to marry him with the most gorgeous ring. She was completely surprised and it was an unforgettable moment for both of them.

For their engagement session, they wanted a calm session at the beach so we chose Sandy hook. I love this location because it is not too crowded so we could take our time exploring a few areas.

It was great spending time with them and I am so excited to their wedding later this year!

I spent the morning on Saturday with Maria, Travis and their precious baby girl. Creating these memories for families truly fills my heart 🤍

I think every bride has an idea of the bridal bouquet the want from the time they start planning their wedding.

There are a variety of colors and combinations to choose from for bridal bouquets. Some popular options include all-white bouquets, blush and pastel tones, bold and bright colors, and monochromatic bouquets in shades of a single color.

Ultimately, it depends on the bride's personal preferences and the overall wedding color scheme.

Sharing a few wardrobe tips for your next family session:

🌸Coordinate, but don't match.

🌸Choose colors that complement each other, but avoid everyone wearing the exact same outfit.

🌸Consider the location and season when choosing your outfits.

🌸Accessorize with simple jewelry or scarves to add interest to your outfit.

If you have little ones, remember to bring water and a few snacks. Remember kids have their own schedule and they might get tired fast. I always try to get the “must have” portraits at the beginning of the session.

I enjoy the weekends more now that temperature is going up. Soon we will see the cherry blossoms 🌸

There are so many things you can do on the weekend, such as going on a hike, visiting a museum, trying out a new restaurant, catching up with friends or family, watching a movie, or simply relaxing at home with a good book or Netflix (need new shows to watch) 🙃

My favorite season is definitely the summer, but the spring has the perfect weather for outdoor activities.

A few reasons to shoot more film

Shooting film can offer a unique and authentic aesthetic that is difficult to replicate with digital photography.

I always ask the bride to share a few pictures of any important details and a the invitation suite. This helps me prepare for the wedding day, specially knowing the color scheme.

I always like to end an engagement session with individual portraits. Must couples are pleasantly surprised and they are always some of my favorite images from the gallery.

Even if you might feel uncomfortable in front of the camera, I will try it make our session fun and we will definitely laugh a lot 🤍

Alyssa and Rob met when they were in Elementary school. They were friends for many years and I would say they were meant to be together!
Rob proposed during a trip to the Niagara Falls. He pretended he was taking a picture of Alyssa as she is looking at the falls. When she turned around, he was down on one knee proposing!

When planning the wedding timeline, I always recommend to allow more time for portraits through the day.
I specially like when we can have at least 10 minutes for portraits after the bride is dressed. They are always some of my favorite images!

I believe one of the key elements of a wedding it’s the floral design. Aside from photography, investing in amazing florals can totally transform any space and elevate the wedding making it unique at the same time.

Eve and Casey did not hesitate when choosing the location for their engagement session. We spent the afternoon at Gantry Plaza State Park. It was my first time visiting and I absolutely loved it! It has 4 piers and beautiful manicured gardens. You can also find some unique industrial monuments that were once used to load and unload rail car floats and barges; today they are striking reminders of our waterfront's past.

Some of Eve and Casey’s favorite things are their dog Maple, eating Pizza and taking day trips.

We had so much fun and the time went by so fast! After the session I made a family date and had dinner in one of the local restaurants!
