About time I updated this page a bit. Went through the holiday lull building a new RF rack for my favorite client and doing a couple local shows. The bigger rooms are the "start" of my year, in DC for the autoshow and Baltimore for a medical conference.

My desk the last few days here in Texas was special. It was the first time a liberty org took advantage of my skill set.

That's John Bush sitting there working his ass off, co-hosting the event and helping manage the tech. It was far from my normal workflow so was challenging from my side but we nailed it, using streaming software to manage all screens (Live and multiple streams). I managed four robo-cams, powerpoint, video switching and audio. John managed the Zoom components and helped me with his software/workflow when he wasnt on stage. It was a lot for one/two techs to handle but I love a challenge so was in my element. It as the first time I operated robocams and used the software like this so I gained a lot of experience.

John and his wife Rebecca put on a hell of a show as he builds his awesome network of homesteaders exiting "the system". Headliners were Joel Salatin, Mike Adams, and JP Sears. The guy who founded The Seasteading Institute was there, the folk who run Liberty Dollars, andlong with a host of other great presenters/exhibiters (~30 over the three days). It was such a welcome line up for a guy like me who usually has big wheels from the establishment side on my stages. I loved it.

I really want to thank John and Rebecca for hiring me and I was stoked to take a bit off their plates so they could better concentrate on hosting. My most satisfying gig in ages.

Every time I go to close this tab I get lost in the pic. Nostalgic.

There aint nothing approaching a squall line at sea. Sailing through the calm towards the storm and waiting for that first blast to arrive. *t

Home for two nights - ahhhhh... my pillows... 😀🥰

I won the gig lottery on the last one. Had the final afternoon/night to myself. Beach day at an all inclusive resort.

Played in the shorebreak for an hour or so. Big enough sets to make turns, look down a barrel, and go over the falls a couple times. Then a few chilly cervezas refreshed by a smiling senorita.

Counting my blessings while contemplating my toes.

The locals were awesome. Mutual respect was quickly and easily established and then their fun loving nature shone. Dinner highlighted that. I'd wanted to try the sushi spot and the boys were working the banquet...

Was playing with the hostess practicing my spanish and the head chef passing by took notice, "Sushi? Come." There was no traditional bar and no seats, but he pointed to a spot to stand at the counter and started feeding me while we laughed through the language barrier. Then he calls over the manager, whom I share a name with, and we are all immediately familia.

After a full measure of sushi they then said, "come" and led me to a table, waiters along the way joking, "VIP, eh?". After calling over the bartender, he gestured to the menu. I looked up and asked "recomendacion?" and his eyes lit up, resulting in that awesome slab of salmon over a bed of handmade noodles, brought with an eager smile. So. Much. Fun.

From our first virtual event, to our latest...

We have a remote studio we've built and, thankfully, we've been doing live events and recording pod-casts for clients all pandemic long.

I thought we'd be back on the road long ago, but I'm starting to like the idea of getting off the road; might even be able to get a dog...

So, I'm looking for new clients.

We have a solid rig with two fat internet pipes. Up to 7 seats for complex shows. Two rooms.

More importantly, we have decades of experience making shows run smooth and have translated that into the virtual space. What we do for clients is minimize the technical aspect so they can focus on the business at hand, all while making their people look good.

If you'd rather not deal with the tech, we got you. Just a couple mid-west boys looking to earn an honest living.
