Miltope Corporation makes rugged computers and peripherals for trying situations. The company manufactures servers, mass storage devices, portable computers and tablets for combat and other environments that prove hostile to sensitive electronics. The equipment is used by the US military, NATO forces, and foreign militaries for severe land, sea, and airborne applications. Miltope also serves the commercial aviation industry with airborne networking equipment and other peripherals. Commercial customers have included Lufthansa, Airbus, Boeing, and United Airlines.
Founded in 1975, Miltope is a subsidiary of ST Engineering North America Government, a unit of the US branch of Singapore Technologies Engineering, which acquired the company in 2003.
Our current headquarters is located in Huntsville, Alabama with additional facilities in Hope Hull, Alabama and sales offices nationwide and in the UK.
