I cut it in slices, grilled it and baked it with almond ricotta, marinara and tomatoes from the garden.

Best way to store basil! Fresh from the garden, place in a container with a little water, like flowers. It will last on the countertop for about a week.
Thinning out the carrots, now I have baby carrots to eat for dinner. Plus the carrot tops are edible and contain beneficial micronutrients. Put the tops in salads, stews, soups, etc.
Fresh basil just harvested from the garden. If you place the stems in a jar with water in the bottom, like with cut flowers, the basil will last for up to a week and remain fresh. Keep it on the countertop, no need to refrigerate. Time to make pesto.

Pole beans have already grown to the top of the bamboo poles! The flowers will soon become delicious beans. I have 3 colors of beans on the 4 different plants. There will soon be LOTS of beans to eat, cook with and can.
