ABA THERAPY

Full Spectrum provides individualized behavioral programs in the home and school settings. ABA is a science geared towards identifying the environmental factors that cause behavior change, minimizing maladaptive behavior, improving socially desirable behavior, and teaching new skills. Our individualized data-based plans are created to be easily implemented by parents, teachers and assisting staff in any environment.

What can ABA help to do?

• Reduce challenging behavior (tantrums, non-compliance)

• Teach communication & language-based skills (vocal speech, augmentative communication)

• Teach academic skills (letter identification, studying independently)

• Improve attention, focus, and memory

• Improve social skills

• Develop functional living skills

• Train parents/caregivers to deal with problematic behavior

PARENT TRAINING

Our Behavioral Skills Training (BST) programs help to familiarize parents and caregivers with behavioral programming used with their child during 1:1 therapy, so that these programs can be utilized at home and out in the community. We provide parents on-going support, so they are equipped to handle problematic behavior in the natural environment, and can help to encourage speech/ communication, and skill acquisition outside of therapy.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT

Full Spectrum offers a wide variety of academic supports, ranging from homework help to remediation across all subject areas. We offer academic tutoring, Pre-K through 12th grade, college, and graduate school level, in the areas of:

• Reading intervention (Early literacy & Reading Comprehension)

• Language Arts/Grammar

• Writing

• Literature

• Math

• Social Studies

• Science

• Foreign Languages (French, Spanish, Hebrew)

• Standardized Test Prep (PSAT, GED, SAT, ACT, LSAT, GRE)

Full Spectrum’s academic support team is comprised of experienced teachers, tutors and learning specialists, who understand that every child has their own unique learning style.

EDUCATIONAL CONSULTING

Our consulting services help to guide parents with educational and/or therapeutic planning, including:

· Therapy referrals & recommendations

· Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) guidance

· Classroom accommodations/ modifications planning

· Coordinating 1:1, in-classroom, behavioral support (school ‘shadowing’)

· In-school observations

· Parent-teacher conferences

CHLOE CAVAYERO GROSS, M.A., BCBA, (Owner, Director of Educational Programming)

Chloe Cavayero Gross, M.A., BCBA has 9+ years in the field of education. She earned board certification as Behavior Analyst (BCBA), after having taught in a program specializing in children with autism spectrum disorder, for 4 years. Chloe earned her Master’s degree from the Steinhart School of Education, Culture and Human development at NYU, in Early Childhood General and Special Education. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the Burnett Honors College at University of Central Florida. Chloe currently holds Florida teacher’s certification in Students with Disabilities (K-12), and belongs to the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts, Council for Exceptional Children, and Council for Learning Disabilities.
