The Simply Zinnia suite has beautiful papers. This card features one of the papers matted with coordinating colors and a stamped message. Easy peasy!

On May 1st, I became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I was with Close to My Heart for the prior 30 years - and now I'm starting a new chapter.

Loving this card kit with Enjoy the Ride papers!

Change can be a good thing, no matter how painful. I've done lots of crafts my whole life. The last 30 years I have been a Close to My Heart Maker, starting with the company when it was called DOTS.
So many memories, friendships made, LOTS of learning (my first cards were pitiful), travel, many many cards, scrapbook pages, and more.
Well, my contract ends tomorrow since the company is closing its doors. The owner, Jeanette Lynton, has decided to go out while she's on top and focus on family and health. She is an amazing lady; I've met her many times. Sigh......
But my story continues. Jeanette has worked with Stampin' Up! to give us an option to continue papercrafting. I have decided to make the change and try a new path.
May 1st I am officially a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator as a Rookie. So much to learn.......but it's good to shake things up, right?
So come along for the ride, my new website, CarolThompson.stampinup.net, will be ready for business May 1st.
