Our Story

I created Jai”Tique Designs about 7 years ago with making jewelry and hand painting t shirts. Some things happened after a few years and I lost my niche. I tried purchasing items in bulk and selling them but I never felt it in my gut. One day I was looking at my uncles jewelry that he makes and saying to myself WOW he is so freaking creative, why cant I be that creative and hmmm I thought I wonder how those would look if I put them on something. Low and behold the idea didn't turn out the way I anticipated, then BAM after some more thinking - I thought of making photo jewelry and it went from making photo jewelry to going on youtube and learning how to design sublimation ceramic mugs to going on to youtube and learning how to make floating tea cups and wood pictures (Thank you Black Girls Craft group!!) and then most recently adding sculptures to the list. I now realize that jewelry was NOT my niche nor my passion but the start of something special in the making. You just have to continue to follow you heart and find what you’re passionate about. Once found (like Iyanla Vanzant says) “You have to do the work” - I love you Iyanla (if anyone knows her please tell her I love her :-) and can design some mugs for her too LOL)

Right now I vend at events around the Charlotte NC area, take orders that I invoice through PalPay, Paypal through “Send Money”, CashApp and accept cash and credit cards face to face.

I had the awesome opportunity to have JaiTique Designs products housed at “The Fresh Shop” at 1720 Pegram Ave, Charlotte NC from Black Friday through January 2nd. Thank you Ja-el Mosley!!
