Rock from the Heart
Rock from the Heart's mission is to proactively educate people about aortic and heart valve disease.
Through concerts and education events, Rock from the Heart uses music to inspire and provide hope to people affected by aortic disease. After a diagnosis of aortic valve disease and an aortic aneurysm, Pete and Amy Johnson learned firsthand the lack of information available. They founded Rock from the Heart to raise awareness and lessen fears about aortic conditions.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hanging out with two-time Rock from the Heart headliner, Sebastian Bach, before his show in Des Moines, IA.
At Rock from the Heart, we use the power of Rock and Roll to catch your attention, so we can share the message about aortic disease awareness. By blending our passion for music with our mission to educate and raise awareness for aortic disease, we connect with people on a personal level.
We're honored to have Sebastian as part of our Rock from the Heart family.
Happy Father's Day to all the Father's out there who are rockin' from the heart today and are a constant source of strength and support for their families.
What a great volunteer team assembled to work as part of our fundraising initiative at Target Field ! Even though the game was called because of rain, we raised $1,500 that will go towards our aortic disease awareness, education, and support programs.

Another shirt spotted in the wild last night at the Night Ranger / REO Speedwagon show in at Scheels Arena. Our team met this lovely couple last week in Shakopee - Paul is a -just 2 months out from open heart surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm and replace his aortic valve. Paul and Karen were RFTH and Night Ranger fans before his diagnosis. Now we are there to support them on their recovery journey. Welcome to the family.
Always great when we can get out and just be rock fans and not the people running the show. Thanks Team Baz!
We had a blast. love you --Amy and Pete

We had a great night seeing our friends from Night Ranger tonight at Canterbury Park in Minnesota. Those who know our story, know that it was Kelly Keagy's recovery from aortic valve replacement surgery that gave our founder, Pete, encouragement and strength to face his own upcoming surgery. Once Pete recovered, we formed Rock from the Heart, so that we could pay it forward and give others diagnosed with aortic disease encouragement and strength.

This Memorial Day, let’s take a moment to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage and dedication are the foundation of the liberties we enjoy today. We owe them a debt that can never be repaid but can always be remembered. 🇺🇸

Here at Rock from the Heart, we are driven by a mission close to our hearts—literally and figuratively. At Rock from the Heart, our goal is to proactively educate people about aortic and heart valve disease. Understanding these conditions is crucial, and we want everyone to be well-informed and empowered to take control of their health.
But education is just the beginning. We recognize the importance of bridging the gap between impacted families and the support they need. Whether it's through connecting with other families facing similar challenges, finding the right medical professionals, or accessing comprehensive resources, we are here to ensure no one feels alone on this journey.
Finally, and uniquely, we believe in the healing power of music. Music has an incredible ability to uplift, inspire, and bring people together. Through our events and initiatives, we aim to weave the magic of music into our mission, offering hope and joy to all who join us. Together, we can create a community where hearts are not only healed but also celebrated.
Thank you for being a part of Rock from the Heart. Let’s continue to rock on, educate, support, and inspire!

Rock from the Heart is extremely grateful to the Fargo media and Sanford Health for helping us amplify the message, promoting our Aortic Health Symposium and benefit concert earlier this month in Fargo-Moorhead. We could not do our work without the support of great organizations in the communities where we live and work.

Life after heart surgery...is good :-)
This year, I spoke for longer than I typically do at the Rock from the Heart event in Fargo. If you're still wondering exactly what our mission is at Rock from the heart, I encourage you to take time and watch the presentation. As always, if you have any questions please give me a call. We are truly trying to make a difference in the world and help people who are diagnosed with this deadly, but very treatable disease. Knowledge is power. Early detection saves lives.
