DTA Global are experts in DCP and digital cinema projection technology. Every component is set up, calibrated and operated by our certified engineering team.
Founded by Bob Deutsch in 1998, DTA (formerly Deutsch Inc) was an outgrowth of the incredibly successful Comcast Film Festival benefiting the NIH Children’s Charities. Projection technology at the time was 35mm film, and DCP standards had not yet been specified. The company began operating as Outdoor Movies, and DTA Digital Cinema emerged when DCI-compliant DCP screenings became an industry standard.

CIFF FILM SUBMISSIONS NOW OPEN... FINAL DEADLINE APPROACHING!
Founded in 2005 and recognized as one of the most exciting documentary film festivals in the world, the Camden International Film Festival (CIFF) gathers boundary-pushing non-fiction filmmakers from around the globe to connect with industry leaders for four-days each fall. The 20th edition of the Camden International Film Festival will take place in Camden and Rockland, Maine from September 12 - 15, 2024.
We’ll be accepting submissions via through May 13.

The 19th Camden International Film Festival () brought the DTA Digital Cinema team back to The Journey's End on the waterfront in Rockland, Maine. This year's install included the pictured 30'x16' truss with nano-perf screen surface.

We all know cinema projectors are loud. DTA has silencing enclosures for applications where there is no projection booth. When you want the presentation done right, reach out to us.
We are looking for a senior cinema technician with event cinema experience. This means experience doing temporary installs, film festivals, premieres and advanced screenings. Additionally, our successful candidate should possess the ability to perform maintenance and repairs on our extensive rental inventory. Technical curiosity, capacity to grow, personality that matches well with our diverse team and clients are requirements!

While outdoor events have kep us busy, we had our first indoor event since March, 2020 this past Saturday screening films for Juneteenth. It nice to see “normal” returning!
