This weekend is a big fun holiday weekend to most of us, but here we never forget to take time think about and reflect on our former and current service men and women (and their families) who make so many sacrifices to keep us free. Everything from one weekend a month, to extended periods of time away from family, and those that made the ultimate sacrifice and laid down their lives for their countrymen.

We’ve been working on this historic building for for a couple of years, they’re a wonderful nonprofit and a great partner as we bring this beautiful building back to its glory. We just finished installing a slate roof, and a new base at the peak for a future replica cupola as we restore it to what it once was!

Our Story
KLR Construction was born out of a passion for construction that grew from DIY projects at my childhood home with my father, and a lifelong love of woodworking that was nurtured in shop class in high school. After a construction management career with involvement in commercial and multifamily new construction, residential renovation and historic renovation, it was time to to feed my entrepreneurial spirit and build a business! Here at KLR Construction we really live the old cliche that if you do what you love you will never work a day in your life. This isn’t to say that building isn’t hard work, but that we start each day excited to take on the challenges that both building construction and running a business present. Our greatest pleasure is making our clients dreams come true, whether it’s a bathroom renovation, a new kitchen, an addition, or a commercial fit-out. Each project is special to our clients, it’s an update to their home or in some cases it “is” their business, and we keep that in mind during every project we take on. We hope to have the opportunity to create something special for you someday!
