Mallory Brown From Thompson, Crawford, Brown & Smiley is our featured speaker this week.
Mallory Bennett Brown grew up in Tallahassee. She attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in Sociology and graduated summa cm laude in just three years. After graduating from FSU, Mallory attended Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

During her time at Cumberland, Mallory was a Senior Associate Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. She also became a published author with her note titled “Regulatory Agencies and the Continuing Threat to the Attorney-Client Privilege”. Mallory graduated in the top quarter of her class.

Upon graduation from law school, Mallory moved home to Tallahassee and shortly thereafter began working at Thompson, Crawford, Brown & Smiley. Mallory became an associate attorney at the firm in 2016 and was named a partner in 2021. Since joining the firm, Mallory has gained invaluable litigation experience and has also had the opportunity to interact with various clients.

Mallory is a member of the Florida Bar, as well as the Federal Bars for the Northern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of Florida, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also admitted to the Georgia Bar and to the Northern District of Georgia. Mallory is involved in all practice areas of the firm including discrimination, probate, business law, and estate planning.

In addition to becoming a partner at the firm in 2021, Mallory also became a mom! She and her husband, Martin, welcomed their son, Myles, into the world in October of 2021. In her spare time, Mallory enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Victoria was born in New York to Greek American parents. She was introduced to waxing and skincare at a young age by her grandmother (Yaiyai). Her grandmother made her own beauty products from the garden, using olive oil and other natural ingredients. Victoria was so interested and passionate about skin care that she turned it into a career for herself. She received her cosmetology license in 1983 from Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics and Cosmetology in New York. Victoria has gone on to receive the prestigious international CIDESCO Diploma, her tattoo license for permanent makeup and ar**la restoration, as well as her Bachelors of Science in business marketing from Briarcliff College. Victoria continues to educate herself and cares about her community. She is an active member of the Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, the Minority Chamber of Commerce, and the National Federation of Independent Business. She supports PACE Center for Girls, among other organizations and causes. Victoria and her daughters Shannon and Athena opened their doors in 2013 and have since been a staple in Tallahassee as one of the highest rated waxing centers in the city.
