Whether you are 3 or 93, Bike Fun can help you become a stronger, more confident bicycle rider. We teach everything from beginning riding to intermediate bicycle maintenance.
POPSICLE the Park returns for a second year! We partner up again with Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms for this all ages, all wheels welcomed event on Sunday, July 14th, from 4-6PM. We'll roll from Cornelia Fort Airpark for a ride (short for young riders, longer for adult & older youth riders) & convene at the trailhead for games, cameraderie, & of course POPSICLES (many thanks to community partner King of Pops)!

Got a 7 or 8 year old who needs some help with next level π² riding skills? Sign them up for our 7 & 8 year old Intermediate Riding Skills class! This course is for 7 & 8 year olds who are comfortable riding a bicycle but need to improve their handling skills. We'll work on weaving, hand signals, & riding with friends. We had a BLAST at the All Ages Learn to Ride with Walk Bike Nashville at Haynes Middle School a few weeks ago. Of our 17 students, 12 were able to pedal independently by the end of the class - and EVERYONE learned SOMETHING. Some follow up work with the painting empress yesterday plus finished putting the cabinet back together (6 layers of paint removed, then 1 thin layer + poly added back on). Some lovely flowers from via Beatriz π₯°
Will be able to move scrap wood out, move cabinets to corners, & then it's time for floor cleaning!
Bit by bit things are coming together!

This weekend is predicted to be WARM! Since we don't have a dedicated indoor facility, we have to roll with the weather.
For the summertime, that typically means scheduling in the earlier morning hours or later in the day. Regardless of timing, students should come prepared with water bottle, loose & light clothing. During classes & lessons we take short breaks to refresh & refocus.
Our instructors may be used to working in the heat, but only you know what's right for you or your younger student. Please let us know about any heat concerns. π‘οΈ π² βοΈ
