Who likes Spiderman!?🕷🎡 I hope this 3 year old boy loved it! BECAUSE I WAS REMINDED OF A HARD LESSON!: Never let my heart strings interfere with good business practice! MY RANT: i have met SO many loyal and wonderful customers throughout my bakery business journey❤️ BUT, there is always that "one" scammer! I know this sounds ridiculous...New customer whom arrived on time as promised. I needed final payment. She was mother to a 1, 2 & 3 yr old. 3 young kids! It was Father's Day. Their cousin had passed away that morning. Her husband was supposed to send Venmo as he rushed out the door to console family across town. She tried calling him TWICE. She felt bad for her husband, as he was over shadowed due to the days events (As we stood together at my entry with the cake and 24 matching cupcakes sitting there staring at us. Hours of patience and care put into the details!) I asked if she had a bank nearby. Answer: Her husband had her cards in the rush. She had borrowed a neighbors car. Who was watching her 3 kids. She LOVED the cake. I asked if she lived close? Answer: 30 mins and she still had to get ready and set up for party. She seemed so sorry and didn't know what to do. (She knew I had to leave because I had Fathers day plans with my Dad.) She was well put together and I made her promise she would pay me. She even asked if I wanted her address. I wanted to help her🙃 WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENED? My texts that day were left unanswered. No Venmo payment. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and figured she was just busy dealing with the party and her family's loss. I called her Monday morning I'll only to find out I was I was blocked. I worked long & hard hours into the night before, giving up my Sat night with my husband. I am mostly mad at myself for leading with my heart! I sure hope that little boy loved it! That gives me peace of mind...and of course, for the Mom...good ol' "KARMA"!!👍 Ahh...I feel better now! Thanks for listening! 🤣🤣🤣

Encanto inspired cake! (Tip: In order to avoid the problem of dark colored buttercream staining your guests teeth, kids clothes etc, I inatead use my homemade marshmallow fondant which can be set aside✔️)😉

Well, between moving to Murrieta and filling San Diego orders the past couple of weeks, life was busy to say the least. Loved organizing my new kitchen and lots of room for my cake decorating😍

I have found the best way to make edible "beach sand" is to food process graham crackers and brown sugar!
