Rolling into their 3rd pool game of Saturday's event, the AF RWB 10U Futures girls faced off their older softball cousins from Athletics Mercado NTX 2029 10U! Not to be intimidated by the older girls size👹, our AF girls bravely 🦁 took on the blazing 🔥fast pitching of Mercado. The girls' bread 🍞 and butter 🧈, smart base-running and solid defense, made it a game, with the Mercado girls squeaking past our AF girls 3-2! We are proud of our young American Freedom RWB 10U Futures girls being able to compete with such a talented squad! ❤️ On to the next one!

🥎❤️🤍💙🥎 Freedom Fans! For their second pool game, the AF RWB 10U Futures girls got to see their East Texas cousins from Sneaky Cleats 10U - Morris! Solid Defense🛡 and pinpoint 🎯 pitching from both teams kept it a neck and neck horse race🏇for most of the game, but a bomb 💣in the gap from the Sneakiest of Cleats🥷 late in the game allowed them to pull ahead of the AF girls, with our AF RWB squad falling to the Cleats 3-9. Way to fight ladies!

Freedom Fans! On Saturday at the 2022 USSSA Big D Classic, our American Freedom RWB 10U Futures girls faced off against their softball cousins from Texas Glory DFW 10U - Keller! Aggressive 👹 base running and solid defense🛡 from both teams made for an electrifying contest! Freedom 🦅vs.Glory🌅, an irresistible force ⚡️ vs. an immovable object 🪨, the AF and Glory girls fought to a 4-4 tie as time expired. Great job, ladies!

On Saturday the American Freedom RWB 10U Futures girls had a grueling 🥵 practice with an emphasis on conditioning, fundamentals, and ending with a friendly scrimmage. When you chase your dreams💪there are times when you have to run through fire 🔥! On Sunday a few of the girls took a trip to Tyler, Texas to Coach Rae's Alumni and watched her old squad the UT Tyler Patriots ball out, sweeping the competition 10-2 and 2-1 that afternoon. The girls were able to get a signed souvenir and a picture with these outstanding role models! Way to put work in this weekend girls! The AF RWB 10U girls are chomping at the bit for their next tournament!

🇺🇸🦅🥎❤🤍💙🥎Good evening, Freedom Fans! Our girls closed out their run at USSSA Red Dirt and Turf with a rematch against the Lady Patriots! Our girls put up a spirited 🤸🙆🙆‍♀️🕺 resistance with a couple of big hits and a three-base steal for a score against the hometown team, but the AF girls ran out of gas⛽️, the Donuts and Mountain Dew (fuel of heroes) wearing off, falling to the Patriots 3 to 8.

The AF RWB 10U Futures girls lost three and tied one game in competitive pool play on day 1. They came out guns blazing on day 2, going deep into bracket play, alternating wins and losses, through four games, winning two and dropping two. Our AF squad played 8 tough games this weekend with the girls hitting multiple home runs, beating out pickle plays, and making highlight defensive 💪 plays! Our pitchers hit their stride, and a few new faces joined the Homerun Club, earning some helmet stickers! It was a successful weekend with amazing growth from our young squad! When they are on their game, they can hang with any team out there! Great job, ladies! Enjoy this coming Easter 🐣 🐰 weekend, rest up, and be ready to work the next time we hit the field!

🥎❤🤍💙🥎Freedom Fans!! After gathering intelligence on them all season🥷 the AF RWB 10U Futures girls faced off against Athletics Mercado 2K11 in a rematch! Our AF girls caught the older Mercado team off guard, pouncing on them early😼😸. Our AF girls 🎯 pitching put the brakes on their offense, and our girls' hot bats🔥 and aggressive base running rang up the lead, giving our AF RWB girls a delicious 🥛😋 10 to 3 victory💪!!

The AF RWB 10U Futures girls stood in the way of the offensive juggernaut👹 that was the Lady Regulators once again! The girls stood at the beach ⛱️ with their hand out to stop the tide, but were swept🌊 away 0 to 10. They picked themselves up, dried off, and got ready for the next one!

🥎❤🤍💙🥎Howdy Freedom Fans! Our AF RWB 10U Futures girls got to see their softball cousins from Athletics Mercado 2K12 for their first pool game. Both teams turned the Baller dial up to 11 (does it go to 11?🤔) for this one. In a scene reminiscent of Rocky IV, both teams slugged it out, pitchers throwing ⛽️, both teams trading bombs💣, including a home run from our #58, beating the pickle to score at home! The AF RWB squad dug deep, turned their ballcaps backwards, and pulled off a spectacular victory 6 to 5, with the Mercado girls going down swinging 👏. Way to fight girls! Still in the winners bracket! Let's keep rollin'!

🥎❤🤍💙🥎Freedom Fans! The AF RWB 10U Futures girls saw some familiar faces this afternoon, taking on the Lady Regulators for their 4th pool game of the day. The AF girls were competitive in the first couple of innings, with some big hits💣 keeping them in the game! The Regulators, incensed 😡at being challenged, brought in the big gun into their pitching circle. As the game progressed, the AF girls couldn't keep it within reach, and the Regulators closed the game out with a 9 to 2 win. The AF girls performed 2x better this game versus last time we saw the Regulators🧐...baby steps. Get ready for bracket play tomorrow morning!

For their second pool game, the AF RWB 10U Futures girls faced off against the East Texas 5 Star Gators🐊. It was a wrestling match, with both teams' pitchers throwing 🔥. The AF girls had a few big hits💣 to bring their runners in, but the Gators were tough as leather, and their tenacious base running kept the game locked at a stalemate 5 runs to 5 as time expired. Great job on both teams! Let's keep rolling!

Our AF RWB 10U Futures girls took on the Lady Patriots for their first pool game this morning. With all the Patriotism🇺🇸 and Freedom🦅 in the air🎆 the girls didn't know what to do with themselves🤷‍♀️. It was Unite or Die, and the girls failed to get it together, allowing too many early mistakes, going down to the Lady Patriots 8 to 2. We're just getting warmed up! On to the next one!

Freedom Fans, I should have known when my toast 🍞 fell jelly🍯 side down onto the motel room floor this morning🤢...something was amiss...the Jena Gypsies🧹 had fashioned voodoo dolls in the image of our AF RWB girls and had stuck pins in them all night. Our girls hit the field for their rematch, and after a promising start, the girls were hoodwinked, bamboozled, and hornswoggled. Routine defensive plays became Herculean tasks and the girls bats were cold🥶. The Gypsies stole off with this one, taking a 12 to 0 win over our AF RWB 10U girls.

Overall, the girls won 2 and lost 3 of their games, with all but the last one in close competition with their Cajun 🦐 Softball 🥎 cousins. The team had a blast competing, chowing down on great food, and enjoying team bonding. Great memories made! Thank you to the fans for making the drive out to Louisiana and thank you to our great sponsors for helping our girls on this softball adventure!

The Reapers kept things razor close for most of the game, but the AF girls bats ignited🔥in the last couple of innings. A home run from #25 sowed the seeds 🌾of victory, with our RWB pitchers 🎯 scything down the Reapers, earning a 6 to 1 win! Next up, a rematch with the Gypsies!

The American Freedom RWB 10U Futures girls faced off against the Lady Royals 👑👸 for their first bracket game! The AF RWB squad stumbled out of the gate early, shooting 🔫 themselves in the foot 😳 and giving up an early three run lead. The girls hobbled along the rest of the game🤕 chasing after the Royals, battling valiantly🦁 but couldn't over come their missteps, going down 8 to 5. Tomorrow is a new day! The Dolls came out dressed to impress, striking first and taking an early lead, but our AF RWB girls went to their 🍞 and 🧈 of pinpoint pitching🎯 and aggressive 😾base running, and highlight reel🎥 defensive plays to put the Dolls back into the toy chest, coming through with a 5 to 2 victory✌️!

The Gypsies cast a spell🧙‍♂️🎩 on the girls, causing them to make a few early mistakes, allowing them to take an early 2 run lead. Solid defensive play kept it a game and the girls' bats came alive a little too late, going down 4 runs to 2. On to the next one!

Our girls made a few highlight defensive plays and threw different pitching skill sets to slow them down🎩.
