Big News! 🌟 Legends of Learning is joining forces with Impact Florida and WestEd for an exciting venture into the future of education. Thanks to a generous $8 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education we're launching a five-year study to explore the effectiveness of game-based science instruction in Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

This initiative could transform the way students engage with science education, aiming for real improvement in student engagement and higher standardized test scores. Here's to innovation and a brighter educational future! 🎓📚

For weeks, students in the Joliet Public Schools District 86 March Mathness competition have been doing a phenomenal job demonstrating their math skills while engaging in some friendly sister school competition! 🎉

But like in all contests, one school has come out on top - Keith! Not only did students at this school set the top mark in the bracket of 75 questions/student, they also set a national record with that number. Congratulations! 🏆

Kudos also go out to Singleton who took first place in the Performance Tournament with over 37 questions answered/student! We loved seeing the spirited competition and effort from all the schools in the district. What an amazing group of students across the board!

Our bracket may be busted, but we still made the finals!

We are incredibly proud to share that Legends of Learning is a FINALIST for three in the categories of (1) Best Customer Experience in Ed Tech, (2) Best Educational Game, and (3) Best Gamification in Learning!! 🎉

The SIIA CODiE Awards recognize excellence in the Business and Education Technology industries. Wish us luck as we advance to the second round, Finalist Peer Review, where SIIA members and industry leaders vote on the Finalist products!

🎉 Round 2 of the Brownsville Independent School District March Mathness competition has tipped off with six schools still vying for the bracket championship! 🏆

At press time, Garcia begins the round with 73.1 facts/student answered - a razor-thin margin over second place challenger Oliveira, with 72.9 facts/student. Four other schools remain in the hunt! 🏀

Congratulations to the winner of the Joliet Public Schools District 86 March Mathness competition >>> Dirksen!!! 🎉 Principal Rolland Jasper's students answered an incredible 354 facts each! And top teacher Cassandra Hartsfield and her students answered a total of 139,897! What a magnificent display of mathematical prowess! 🏆

Kudos to runner-up Singleton, whose students answered 277 facts each, and all of the schools in Joliet, who cumulatively answered nearly 2.8 MILLION math facts! 🙌

The first bracket winner in the Rio Rancho Public Schools March Mathness competition is...Eagle Ridge Middle School! It was a photo finish - 231 facts per student vs. a strong performance by Mountain View Middle School coming in at 230 facts per student. 🎉

Every student in the competition demonstrated some outstanding performance so congratulations to all who participated! ✨

The second bracket tips off next week so keep checking in to see who advances after the first round! 🏆
