MEET OUR LITTER-ARY KITTENS
Take one home with you
We’ve been “litter-ly” blessed with cute, cuddly, fuzzy felines, and they’ve acquired names right out of the books on our shop shelves.
We couldn’t help but notice the resemblance of Grisham to the cover kitty on Pamela and James Mason’s 1956 book Favorite Cat Stories. Hmmm. Famous ancestor, perhaps? Meet the others: Charlotte Bronte, Grisham, Hiaasen, James Patterson
We’re eager to place them with local cat lovers. We should mention that this isn’t BOGO, so there’s no purchase necessary.
All the best to you and yours fo the holiday season.
All the best to you and yours for this holiday season.
WE'RE SORRY! OUR ONE WOMAN SHOW WILL BE POSTPONED BECAUSE OF ILLNESS -- We wish Diane Keske Talmadge a speedy recovery and look forward to rescheduling her One Woman Show at a later date. Meantime, please watch our interview with Diane. Her paintings are wonderful. We'll let you know when her show is rescheduled.
Please DO join us for Dade City Unwrapped, will take place as scheduled on November 4.
DADE CITY UNWRAPPED: For this wonderful event this year, we’re doing something extra special. On November 4, we’re proud to welcome Zephyrhills artist Diane Keske Talmadge and her One Woman Show. Diane is a wonderful portrait and still-life artist, and she’ll have many examples of her work on display (and for sale). Please watch Mike’s conversation with her until the end for a special treat. We think this is a perfect pairing with Dade City Unwrapped, and we hope to see you here. Music by Kevin MacLeod.
We appreciate the kind words and five-star rating. Thank you so much.
Dade City has many exciting events coming up! Keep this calendar handy and come join in on all of the fun!
Thank you, Casey! And thank you to all our friends who support us regularly. We appreciate you.
OUR NATIONAL READ A BOOK ... MONTH! Our friend Dave Foxlow and his granddaughter Emilia read an excerpt from Thea Stilton and the Lost Letters, No. 21 in the Geranimo Stilton Adventure series. Thank you for participating in our Read A Book ... MONTH! project.
You can record your reading aloud to someone special. Make it a video or make it audio with a picture of the participants. Whatever works for you. Include your name and the name of the book you're reading. Please send it to [email protected].
OUR NATIONAL READ A BOOK ... MONTH! Okay, here it is. Sarah and Guin settle in (sort of) for a reading of the popular Dr. Seuss book, Green Eggs and Ham. This is our take on the National Read A Book Day celebration. We're extending it to a whole month. So you have plenty of time to record your reading aloud to someone special. Make it a video or make it audio with a picture of the participants. Whatever works for you. Include your name and the name of the book you're reading. Please send it to [email protected].
FOR NATIONAL READ A BOOK DAY (September 6), we’re kicking off a month long reading festival -- because we believe it needs more than just a day!
Soon, on this page, you’ll find a recording we made reading a Dr. Seuss favorite.
We’d love to see your reading video! (It doesn’t have to be Dr. Seuss). We’ll publish it right here. Send your video to [email protected]
Come join us and Spend the Day in Historic Downtown Dade City as we Spell Fun!
Stop by participating shops to pick up your "Game Card", shop and participate in the "scavenger hunt" for the letters in the participating shops, unscramble to find the correct word and enter to win prizes!
