“What kind of legacy do you want to leave behind? Unlike most other savings options, life insurance

12/05/2024

Nothing you love is lost. Not really. Things, people—they always go away, sooner or later. You can’t hold them, any more than you can hold moonlight. But if they’ve touched you, if they’re inside you, then they’re still yours. The only things you ever really have are the ones you hold inside your heart.
Happy Mother’s Day💜

Did you know that drunk driving accidents historically surge on football's biggest day?

As we all gear up for the big game, it's important to prioritize safety to ensure this event remains fun and safe for everyone 🏈

Things to keep in mind:

1️⃣ Do Not Drink and Drive: Use designated drivers or rideshare services like Uber or Lyft when not within walking distance from home. Remember, you can be arrested for driving under the influence even if your blood alcohol content is below .08.

2️⃣ Drink Responsibly: Keep in mind that several factors such as gender, food intake, hydration levels, and medication can influence your intoxication levels. At parties, consider choosing measured or canned beverages for a clearer idea of the amount of alcohol consumed.

3️⃣ Host Responsibly: If hosting a party, offer ample food and non-alcoholic drinks. Consider stopping alcohol service during the third quarter, and remember that as a host, you're potentially liable if a guest drives drunk.

4️⃣ Drive Defensively: Given the potential rise in drunk drivers, apply defensive driving strategies if you’re driving on the day of the big game. Remain alert, maintain a safe distance from others, and report suspected drunk drivers to the authorities.

While staying safe, make sure you also cheer hard for your favorite team! Tell us in the comments — who are YOU rooting for? 🏈👏

I am lacing up my sneakers and tying my dancing shoes this month and walking and dancing in the Holy Family Regional Catholic School's Hawk Walk 2023.
This event raises money for me and my classmates to continue to be enriched with programs that are essential to our academic growth.
I would appreciate it (and so would my 290+ schoolmates) if you could help support me

Did you know one in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime? And even more will know or love someone fighting this destructive disease.

That’s why, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to raise awareness about this form of cancer. Take a look at a few key facts below:

💝 One in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.

💝 The average age of diagnosis is 62, but breast cancer can occur at any age.

💝 Early detection is key to survival. When breast cancer is caught before it has spread to other areas of the body, the five-year relative survival rate is 99%.

💝 As such, it's important to talk to your doctor about any risk factors and get regular mammograms once it’s recommended you do so.

💝The United States Preventive Services Task Force recommends women ages 50-74 with an average risk receive a mammogram every two years. Women ages 40 to 49 should talk with their doctor to determine when to start and frequency.

💝 There are many effective treatments for breast cancer, and the survival rate has been steadily increasing in recent years.

Share this post to raise awareness about breast cancer, and remember to talk to your friends and family about the disease and encourage them to get screened.

With small businesses accounting for 43% of cyberattacks annually + an average cost of $25,000 per breach, you can’t afford to kick back and relax.

The good news is you CAN protect your small business’s cyber footprint in 2023 and beyond.

🤔How, you ask? You’ve got to know what you’re up against.

Here are two new threats in 2023:

➡️ AI browser extensions can secretly hack into your team’s accounts, siphoning data unannounced. It’s critical to be vigilant in monitoring extensions - you may even want to provide your team with a list of trusted resources.

➡️ AI tools could lead to collection of company data, with there being clear potential for publicly available tools to collect and leverage confidential company information as part of their generative AI makeup.

That said, strong cyber insurance can help protect your business from financial repercussions in 2023 and beyond. Reach out with any questions 🤝

Following Hurricane Idalia, we want to share our hopes that all of you are safe and sound 💗 If your property sustained damage, know that we’re here to help.

Here are a few initial steps to take:

✔️ Prioritize safety - Leave the property if there are immediate hazards or risks. Do not attempt to survey the damage yourself if it is not safe to do so.
✔️ Document the damage - If it’s safe to do so, take photos or videos of the damage, capturing wide-angle shots and close-ups as evidence for any claims.
✔️ Mitigate further damage - Again – if safe – take reasonable steps to prevent additional damage, such as covering a damaged roof with a tarp. Keep receipts for temporary repairs.
✔️ Give us a call - We can offer clients tailored advice and help facilitate communication with the insurance carrier.

If you have insurance questions or other needs post-storm, don’t hesitate to reach out. Even if you’re not a client, we’re happy to help however we can 🤝

September is National Pet Insurance Month!

🐶🐱 Just like us, pets can have accidents or unexpected health issues. That's where pet insurance comes in. Check out these stats:

🐾 63% of pet owners struggle to pay surprise vet bills due to recent inflation.
🐾 An emergency vet visit costs an average of $800-1500.
🐾 On the other hand, pet insurance on average costs around $55/month for a dog, with unlimited annual coverage, 90% reimbursement, and a $500 deductible.

With pet insurance, you'll have peace of mind knowing you can provide the care your pet needs without financial worries.

Driving is an everyday activity for most of us, making it easy for drivers to go on autopilot along with their cars 🚘

But given that two out of every three people will be involved in an accident with serious injuries, it’s important to remain vigilant, no matter how many times you’ve stepped into the driver’s seat.

Here are a few 🔑 ways to do just that:

🚗 Wear your seatbelt - Wearing a seatbelt is the most effective way to reduce fatality risk in a crash. In fact, the NHTSA says seatbelts cut crash-related serious injuries and deaths by half.

🚗 Practice defensive driving - Be aware of what other drivers around you are doing, expect the unexpected, and keep a two-second cushion between you and the car in front of you.

🚗 Don’t multi-task while driving - Multi-tasking while driving is dangerous and can cause you to swerve, hit other cars, or run into stationary objects on the side of the road.

🚗 Don’t drive impaired - Alcohol and drugs impair decision-making and alertness even if you feel fine–and so does being tired. Controlled studies show drowsy driving can cause a similar amount of crashes as drunken driving.

Have a safe driving tip to add to this list? Comment below, and be sure to share these tips with your friends and family ➡️
