UpLift Transport specializes in wheelchair and gurney services available throughout the state of California. From hospital discharges, facility transfers, and medical appointments to many types of private events, our drivers act as a personal assistant to accommodate all specific transport needs. Also provide long-distance services. In addition, have night on-call and weekend shifts available for those extra income opportunities.

As a transport driver, you will be trained and supplied with your own mask, gloves and cleaning supplies for the vehicle and equipment used to ensure safety and cleanliness. Please be aware of the exposure risk that the healthcare industry always possesses and be confident when applying, knowing that UpLift Transport is always practicing universal precautions and has a strict safety process. Your vaccinations will need to be completed.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Must be 24 Years of Age or Older

Well Groomed and Always Wear Company Uniform

Must have had Valid Driver's License for MINIMUM 2 years

Clean Criminal And Driving Record

Thorough knowledge of Orange County, including the major traffic patterns

Able to use and follow GPS navigation systems such as Google Maps

Must have a smartphone.

Willing to provide Door-through-Door Service

Highly organized with good follow-up skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Team Player

Willing to work a flexible schedule

Must be willing to work weekends.

Must be willing to do a pre and post trip inspection.

Prior work references must be provided.

Prior experience operating wheelchair lift gates or ramps is a plus.

Speak and understand English sufficiently to provide excellent customer service.

Know and adhere to HIPPA regulations.

Must be able to transport Bariatric patients via gurney and wheelchair

The candidate will be required to take a First Aid and CPR certification class as well as submit to a criminal background check and drug and alcohol testing. Full vaccination required!
