So if you follow my stories this might be the worst kept secrets ever but at long last I can officially announce that signed to and we couldnāt be happier about it.
At this stage in my life being a musician / songwriter / producer Iāve have to good fortune to check a lot of boxes that 15 year old me playing in his first punk band could only dream of.
When we started this project it was imperative to me that not only would I work with my favorite humans in the world (which just so happened to also be my favorite musicians) but that if I didnāt feel like this was the best record we could make then we just wouldnāt put it out.
I get to wake up today proud as can be that we turned every stone, and didnāt relent until we hit that mark.
I want to thank and for flying all the way across the country to not once but TWICE to write and record the drums. for literally driving 3 hours round trip for 10 months to track vocals and refine the song structures. And of course for adding his incredible chord voicing to my compositions breathing a new life into the mood of the songs and forcing me out of my box.
Everyone at including my beautiful better half who is the unsung hero behind the scenes, organizing, and holding everything together.
I hope you love this first track as much as we do, and stay tuned because itās all about to unfold ā¤ļø

I have and frankly have always had an amazing mother . Sheās always been supportive of the things Iāve gone after in life and come hell it high water, she shows up for her family every time. She recently told my wife āyouāre like the best mom Iāve ever seenā which is the highest compliment anyone could receive in my opinion. But honestly I can see what she means, Jessie is so engaging, patient, honest, and every other possible superlative with our son Dean. Without her neither of us be the people we get to be today because of her endless love and positivity. To all the moms out there I see you and respect you to the end. Happy Motherās Day ā¤ļø
What's the "Weezer Trick"? Well, it's basically a trick that neither myself nor Weezer invented to create thematic resolve by sneakily incorporating the chorus melody using anything except vocals. Having said that, I think it works well in this new Salem Wolves track I'm mixing right now!

Massive Sounding Drums without Sounding FAKE!
So yeah, I upgraded the camera capture quality so that's a win, and I bought a Steam Deck which is already helping my little workflow issues. Some people commented and messaged me about the drums on that Death of us track so watch until the end to get a little behind the scenes look at that as well as just a general look at how I use Maastr.io for all my clients and artists.
As I am forever on my mission to create as many efficient workflows as possible, this is my newest idea. Basically the idea here is to take away as many obstacles between wanting to make a post about something cool, and actually doing it. Let me know how this looking and sounding, I already have thought of a way to get the video looking crisper so that will be next on my list. In the meantime check out this very simple yet wildly effective trick for making a mix come in HUGE after an intro. The band is from London and they are so good.

Recording Day 3: and the art of improvisation.
Day two with has had its share of technical challenges but everyone is still in high spirits and huge thanks to for handling things like a pro.
Day 1: killing it so far.
Came out of retirement for last night.
The song is called āGod vs Iā and when we were working on the LP I think I probably had the most creative input on this specific part. When asked me to sing it on the actual record I was honored, then when I got asked to sing it LIVE I was slightly terrified haha.
