We roast, grind, & conch cacoa beans into chocolate nirvana. If you like dark chocolate, you will LOVE Indigo chocolate. Well, eat it of course, and SHARE it.
About two years ago I met a man in Ann Arbor, Michigan who made chocolate from the cocoa bean. After talking with him I became obsessed with how to make chocolate at home. I poured over the internet and read every book about chocolate I could get my hands on. I realized rather quickly this is a relatively expensive hobby, but with my husband's blessing, a few pieces of equipment, and 25 lbs. of Do
minican Republic cocoa beans I began. I am amazed at the superior taste & texture of small batch chocolate. I truly cannot go back to the massed produced chocolate again. So now that I have chocolate-what to do with it? My friends and family have been forced to taste test it all: 70% dark chocolate, milk chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, Kahlua & coffee truffles, raisin/almond/peanut dark choc. bars, and anything my little mind can conceive. Now I have decided to make my evil hobby legit and work on all that it takes to be a real business. Hang on-it's going to be a roller coaster of a ride! Thanks for coming along with me.
