Christmas in Ida is this weekend! The craft show runs from 8:30-2:30 on Saturday the 3rd. Come and see all the great crafters! I'll be in my usual spot in the high school's main hallway between the front doors and the cafeteria. Don't forget to stop and say "HI"

Infant size fits up to an average 2 yr old with an 18" drop from the top of the shoulder. They are designed to be worn over a lightweight hoodie or jacket and cover what a typical coat would cover.

Traditionally, weighted blankets are used for therapeutic purposes for children or adults experiencing sensory disorders, anxiety, stress, or issues related to autism. Children and adults without these disorders also benefit from the added weight to offer them comfort and better rest at night. To ensure even weight distribution, each blanket is carefully sewn into equal pockets that are then filled with non-toxic, virgin polypropylene pellets.

The Story
I am a mother of two and grandma (MiMi) of four who absolutely loves to sew. I started Sweet Baby Takes, along with my daughter Nicole, in 2012. We wanted to share our passion for sewing, especially for children. Many of our products came out of necessity for my grandbabies or from customer requests. Nicole has gone on to pursue other things, but still provides inspiration for much of what I do.
Everything you see is handmade from quality materials. I put love and care into all I do because the children in your life are as important to you as mine are to me!
~The Car Seat Poncho is my most popular pre-made item; it’s a safe alternative to bulky winter coats. ~Keepsake Bears and Quilts are a beautiful way to utilize your clothing and fabrics to preserve special memories with something you can hold on to. ~Embroidered Medical Alerts attach to your car seat or stroller strap to alert medical personnel to any life threatening conditions in the event of an emergency. ~Weighted Therapy Blankets are used for therapeutic purposes for children or adults experiencing sensory disorders, anxiety, stress, or issues related to autism. ~I also make accessories for mom; Ring Sling baby carriers keep baby close and promote bonding. Water Ring Slings allow you to keep baby close while in the water or at a water parks with older children.
