Baptist Health in the Central Regions of the state celebrated the March graduating RN Residents. There was great support from Leadership and Management. The RN Residents presented their Evidence Based Practice projects and did a wonderful job. The Fall Prevention project won first place. Congratulations to you all for an outstanding job. May you be blessed throughout your nursing career.
PCT’s were held this week at the John Barrow Training Center. They have learned how to care for patients this week. Here are a few pictures from this weeks class.
The Center of Learning and Professional Development held a Preceptor workshop today in Fort Smith. 5 PCT/PCA’s and 1 RN attended. They had a great time and learned how to become amazing preceptors.
Fort Smith 2024 Transition to Practice graduated 6 RN Residence today. They each had a wonderful evidence based practice project it was said it was very hard to determine who the winner would be because they all were very good. Congratulations to you all. Katherine Griffen ended up getting the most votes for the evidence based practice project and it was actually even implemented on her unit. Great job Katherine . 
Haley Arzaga, RN, Pre-op at Little Rock and TK Alexander, PCT, 3A Little Rock have been awarded an Elite Preceptor Award due to being excellent preceptors and making a positive impact on their orientees! So proud of both of them!
Preceptor workshop was held yesterday with the total of 14 participants, which included RN,PCT scrub tech and monitor text.
All hands on deck today for the CPR skills blitz for the Baptist College. Around 116 students are expected. Thank you all your help to make this happen.

Education Day at Baptist Health Arkadelphia.
The day included Nursing Education from system Quality, IP, Trauma, Pharmacy and Medflight. Outside representatives from Hill Rom, Medline, and ARORA paricipated. Emploee Health was also present offering Flu shots and fit testing.

Monday the Center of Learning and Professional Development held the IA course. They also became certified in CPR. Way to go new Information Associates.

Emergency Department Residency Fellowship did MOAB training today. They learned how to d escalate a situation and how to handle situations that become more aggressive. They did a wonderful job!! The MOAB instructors did a great job training them. Way to go team!!
Preceptor program was held yesterday at the John Barrow location. In attendance where RN’s, Scrub Techs, PCT’S and a Social Worker. They had a blast learning about being a preceptor in interactive ways through an escape room. One group completed the fastest time and the other without any hints. Great job to you all becoming preceptors.

Fort Smith had a skin/wound educational offering last Friday. Here are the pictures. From the feedback it was very educational and amazing.
