For me, volleyball is the toughest sport to shoot. These Ferris State Bulldog Volleyball pics are from the warm-ups on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, against Wayne State. I always arrive early for several reasons: To lock down a good initial shooting spot at the net, to adjust the camera settings for lighting (every arena is different), and to get a feel for spots when I need to shoot with manual focus vs. auto focus. Volleyball can be quite tricky and frustrating to shoot.
