Austin College GO Fellowship
Each year since 2008, 10 to 15 Austin College Global Outreach (GO) Fellows travel to third world countries for servant leadership projects.
In so doing, they change not only the lives of those they serve, but also themselves!

Due to the continuing prevalence of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the GO! Global Fellowships for Summer 2021. We understand how disappointing this news is, but we remain optimistic about the eventual continuation of the GO! Global Fellowship opportunities in the following summer of 2022.
Please continue to review Handshake https://austincollege.joinhandshake.com/login for summer internship and job opportunities. Remember that you can filter your search using key word ‘remote’. Don’t forget to also review the ‘Events’ in Handshake as many employers and nonprofits continue to host virtual information sessions. You can also schedule an appointment with Career Services through Handshake.

Dear Summer 2020 GO! Fellowship Applicants,
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we watched the daily developments regarding travel and the COVID-19 Pandemic. We understand the magnitude of both tension and adjustments having to be made, in multiple aspects, of everyone’s daily lives. At Austin College our #1 concern is the safety and well-being of our students so that is why the college has elected to cancel the Summer 2020 GO! Fellowship Program.
We fully acknowledge and appreciate the amount of work, care, research and effort that went into each and every application. Everyone took time out of their busy schedules to interview with Career Services and the Study Abroad Office. Some students even redid the application to accommodate change requests or requests for additional information. We at Austin College share in your disappointment, but know that you each understand the severity of current health concerns and that your overall health and welfare must be the 1st priority.
For those students who are rising Sophomores and Juniors, we highly encourage you to apply again to the GO! Summer 2021 Fellowship program next year. For those of you that are rising Seniors, we empathize and share in your disappointment for this missed opportunity.
