This Saturday, the MN Attorney General & Ramsey County are servicing people with criminal backgrounds to clean their record. This is the type of restorative and reparative efforts I want to see more of from our local agencies. People who have paid their debt to society and have successfully rehabilitated deserve access to housing, employment, education without barriers. Please share the word. This is a non-arrest zone. This is also a space to get community resources & relationships.

Today at 3:30 there will be a public hearing on the Renaming of Concordia & Saint Anthony Avenue to Rondo Avenue.
If you are a resident on or near this area and want your voice to be heard, please show up and share your thoughts on this change.
The deadline to submit written comments was last Friday, but please comment your remarks and I’ll be sure to share at the meeting today.

As I embark on my tenure as Saint Paul City Council Woman for Ward 1, I'm filled with gratitude for your support and encouragement. Now, I'm calling on our community's collective strength to help recruit a Legislative Aide. This individual will be instrumental in our collaborative efforts with the community and key city stakeholders. I’m raising money and hiring a dynamic team of community canvassers!
I remember when I worked my first canvassing job in 2010 for the Governors race & how fulfilling it was to meet so many people from different walks of life! People trusted me with their hopes and their fears. Those conversations on the doors instilled a sense of connectedness with me forever. Never did I think I’ll be running for office & in a position to invest in the next generation of political organizers. But here I am with the courage of Harriet Tubman to keep going.
