Over the last 3 years, I have had a listing on Facebook marketplace to give away my rope scraps. I’ve gotten really good at estimating my rope needs, but there is always a little bit of scrap rope after making over 10,000 fruit hammocks and all my other goods! Some people use the scraps for other crafts and who knows what else.

I was excited to give Cynthia some scraps that she planned to use to make paper with! She was thrilled to pick them up and kindly promised me a sample of her work.

I reached out to her a second time when I had a full bag of scraps to get rid of. She came and picked them up that same morning (which is RARE if you’ve ever used marketplace 😂) and she brought me this cute note and a piece of paper she recently made!!! I love that you can see a few flecks of the colored rope 😍😍😍 I told her I’d love to buy more paper from her to use for product tags or sell as some sort of greeting card.

It makes my heart so happy the get the absolute most use out of rope! Please reach out if you ever need scraps!

I was honored when my hometown friend came to me with this genius custom idea! Amber and Sam got married last fall in Mexico and wanted a piece of macrame that they could use at their head table and then hang up at home to remember their special day. I worked with Amber on the design and finding the perfect color to match their wedding theme. I love her vision for this and how it is multi-purpose! Thank you for trusting me

✨I’m Lesli! I grew up in central illinois, moved to California for 6 years after college, and moved to Indy 2 years ago. We love it here!
✨Jake is my fiancé! We are getting married in September in northern New York 😍 he is the best cheerleader, however he does not macrame. He loves to shop at markets and sell in my booth when I need a break!
✨macra-yay turned 5 this year! We were San Diego Macrame before we moved and rebranded. It started as a VERY part time hobby, then after 2.5 years I created the fruit hammock and it changed our lives. It went viral and I was able to stay home and do macrame full time. The viral period helped us with the down payment on our house 😱 we are so so grateful.
✨I source all of my rope from women-owned small businesses and try to support small businesses before going to Amazon or big box stores. I hope you do the same if you enjoy unique shopping and want your favorite stores to last!
✨we have 4 animals. 2 cats, Dennis and Menace, and 2 dogs, Jack and Bean. They make sure your products pass inspection and love when we come back with local pet treats for them 💕
