Check our events for upcoming shows, or below for our recurring activities! The list drops at 8:30 and acts begin at 9:30. Sets are 3 songs or 15 minutes each, whichever comes first. We tend to fill up and go long, so being early is recommended! Tuesday - Karaoke! Starts at 10, and we go all night long. Leo is the MC and Kara is your bartender! Check with them for the theme for the upcoming week.
Our Story
At 2nd Wind, we pride ourselves in being the bastion for local, live music in Carrboro. We feature up-and-coming artists as well as provide a platform for those just starting out, and take care in cultivating an environment connects us to the community and helps us support each other. Friends that drink together, stay together!
We have an indoor bar and stage, a couple TVs, an adorable outdoor patio, incredible bartenders, and the best customers in town -- hands down. And being located in the center of downtown Carrboro makes it the perfect spot for a night out. Sit by the window and people watch while playing giant Jenga, catch the game at the bar, or make friends for life on the back patio.
We’re very dog friendly, but have a few basic rules! There is often live music, and sometimes it gets loud and our furry friends can speak up. If this happens, we ask that you take them out until they quiet down. There are doggy bags outside on the patio, and picking up after your pooch is expected. Please don’t let your dog onstage with the performers; it can be cute but dangerous! And if your dog shows aggression towards other dogs or people, they’ll have to leave just like a person would for the same reason.
