Our Story

Tucked along Winter Street in historic Delaware, Ohio, 1808 American Bistro was established in 2008 and as our name reflects, we have always been committed to embracing the rich traditions and heritage of our community while introducing our customers to innovative and modern cuisine.

Offering superb quality classics with the finest, most local ingredients available is our specialty. American bistro fare with the occasional twists. We know our fan favorites are a mainstay, but we keep our menu fresh with one-of-a-kind, chef-inspired dishes.

Our attention to quality doesn't stop with our cuisine. We toast to good drinks. Handmade cocktails with fresh squeezed ingredients. Wines from around the world and right in our backyard. And, we have the most extensive craft beer list in town - 48 brews on draft. Cheers to that.
