PUSHING THESE UP IN BATCHES

Sunday brought a close to another Michigan State BMX race series, where there was 60+ motos on a very warm day, but I am already looking forward to next years series.

Rock City held a jump contest after second motos where some series talent showcased their skills, the downside, it ran very long, other than that the Rock City crew ran like their usual well oiled machine.

RC has the best volunteers, thank you to all of you that made this happen! That goes for all the tracks, volunteers make this work, THANK YOU!

Well I just wanted to let everyone know why I'm in the hospital I have Stage four pancreas Cancer and it's spread to my liver hopefully I go home in a couple of days to take care of my business doc said Mabe 6 months to a year I'm so scared I will post more later just remember Bmx for life keep the rubber side down

Much like last year, a scorcher of a day at Waterford Oaks BMX last Sunday where they held their State Qualifier.

This did not deter people from coming out to the legendary track, which was dialed in, everyone I spoke with loved the track, I believe there were 53 stacked motos, even having to run semi's for the 5 and under class.

As always, thank you to all the volunteers that made this happen and well done on bringing in the Red Wood Grill food truck, great food!

In light of the hot weather, I was relegated to wherever I found shade, so not the most advantageous action spots; I shot the mains over the fence under the MagicBMX tent, thank you Jim Cassidy!

Can-Am BMX Track State Race for Saturday 8-8-20 has been moved to Richfield Park BMX.

USA BMX will postpone the Spring Nationals (March 20-22) and the Great Northwest Nationals (April 3-5)

Due to the state bans of crowd gatherings in New Mexico and Oregon, USA BMX will postpone the Spring Nationals (March 20-22) and the Great Northwest Nationals (April 3-5) to a later date. USA BMX will continue to monitor the Covid-19 situation and rely on local authorities in each state with regards to cancellation or postponement of scheduled events as safety for our BMX community remains the priority.

Any rider who pre-registered for these events will receive a refund automatically to their credit card. Additionally, all reservations for hotel rooms for these two events through BMXhotels.com will automatically be canceled and the deposit will be refunded.

Additionally, riders looking to qualify for Team USA at the 2020 world championships may attend the worlds qualifier on Friday of the Carolina Nationals to guarantee their spot on Team USA. Any rider unable to attend or who doesn’t qualify in Rock Hill may fill out a discretionary nomination located at usabmx.com/worlds to be considered.
