Konstellation Farm
Private boarding barn located in Northfield NH. We offer full board, training and lessons.
When you need to work the pony and also ride!
1) I already knew Sesame pony leads
2) Sesame and Tyke live together so they get along
3) This was actually Tykes first time ponying ever- and she was perfect🥰
We *finally* repurposed the broken windmill by our outdoor! Now it’s a spot light for evening rides this fall 😁
We went to our first Ranch Riding show last Sunday!
Major and Sidney, (Gabby leadline)
Sneeks and Theresa,
Kashi and Jenny,
Po and Emma,
Mackenzie and Shadow, (Piper leadline)
And Callie and Paige
(Most of these photos are stolen as I was riding, but it was a lot of fun and a new experience for everyone 😊)
I took some time to (actually) ride my own horse this evening just for fun.. 😍 Major is the best boy
So proud of our K-Farm/Shooting Star Equestrian riders! The 2024 4H state show is a wrap. Each and every one of these girls stepped up and showed their best not only for themselves but for their horse and they completely supported each other along the way!
Theresa took Sneeks out her senior year as a green horse (never shown under saddle) she was so proud of him in each class for every accomplishment he made! Sneeks gained experience and confidence with Theresa over the weekend.
Jenny (who has been riding less than 6 months) rode Kashi and excelled getting high praise from the judge along with receiving high points in judging and a pointed blue in one of her riding classes.
Mackenzie rode Etoile western (a 23 year old seasoned hunter/dressage show horse) and did amazing guiding her through it all! She was patient and considerate of Etoile along this new adventure and all her hard work showed!
Paige rode Major (who can be a handful) and after a rocky showmanship class came back to win not only 3 pointed blues in her riding classes but high points in test, JR high point in test/judging, and SR horse (Major) high point with overall perfect scores in her added classes!
And Emma took a 20 something year old trail horse and turned her into a show horse! Polaris was amazing at her first weekend show and Emma went with the flow and made decisions based off Polaris’s best interest regarding classes.
*And lastly to Grace who was our stable manager- thank you so much for your help and support with all these horses and riders. This show wouldn’t have gone as smoothly without you!
I couldn’t be happier for all the girls and I hope they are proud of themselves for not only their individual accomplishments but also how they worked together as a team!
The success of the weekend can’t be based off of ribbons or scores- Each horse and rider combo did an amazing job and this team as a whole can’t be beat! 💕
We’re at the Deerfield Fairgrounds for the NH 4H State Horse Show with Major, Etoile, Kashi, Polaris and Sneeks! Saturday and Sunday the girls have showmanship and riding classes!
The Konstellation Farm/Shooting Star Equestrian show team did amazing last Saturday.
Everyone stepped up and tried their hardest. Even with the added pressure of a flat tire, last minute trailer swap and running later than anticipated.
Thank you to all the parents/family, the riders themselves and our amazing barn family who came out to support these kids. (I can’t tag everyone on the farm page but you know who you are!)
All 5 riders who were old enough to qualify for state show did. And our 2 youngest riders who participated in leadline rocked their first show!
We will be at the Deerfield fairgrounds July
13th-14th for state show!
We are off tomorrow with 7 kids and horses to a 4h show! All these riders have worked very hard and for some it will be their first show (or the horse’s first show) 💕
Theresa riding Incognito “Sneeks”
Paige riding Major Khemotion “Major”
Mackenzie riding Beybe Etoile “Etoile”
Jenny riding Khamikashi “Kashi”
Emma riding Polaris

And Gabby riding Frankie
Tyke turns 20 today. She received some special grooming and extra love today 🥰
Well this one hit hard… I’ve had to say goodbye to my fair share of horses over the past 20 some odd years here at K-Farm.. we’ve had older rescues, beloved lesson ponies and some very special personal hoses leave us- generally I was able to prepare myself ahead of time and plan my goodbyes.
But unfortunately I was not prepared for this one. We had to make a tough decision and say goodbye to Wishing For Gold “Wish” on May 25th after colic resulting in him twisting.
I had assumed we had quite a few more years with Wish as he just turned 21 last month- but I would like to remember the time we did have and the amazing horse he was 💕 He successfully competed at Class A Arabian Horse shows in Western Pleasure, Dressage, Hunter Pleasure and County English Pleasure over the years. Along with trail rides and just riding for fun around the farm Wish was one of the most versatile horses I’ve had the pleasure to own.
Happy Birthday to my Pstars About, 24 today!
I missed Baileyson on May 3rd 🤦♀️ happy 28th (he’s the oldest man at Konstellation Farm)

Wish turned 21 yesterday 🥰
This may be the earliest we have had the outdoor ready to ride! Yesterday and today have been so nice 🥰
Happy “Birthday” Po! (I don’t know her actual birthday but 12 years ago today she came to K-farm!) Polaris is around 22 years old now- last 2 pictures with her lesson kid 😊
Happy birthday to Sneeks, he is 12 today! Photos of him at 5 month when he first came to the farm and now ❤️
❤️ Major Khemotion
We haven’t posted any updates in awhile.. but we have still been picking away at finishing up our renovations before winter hits.
The new stalls are finished and full with happy horses!! (With just a few finishing touches still needed around the barn.)
Paddocks are up and being used. 3 last week and #4 was just finished (last 2 photos) 😍 we are still hoping to get one last paddock up before the ground freezes!
3 paddocks are up! (One is functional )
Tomorrow we put the panels up to divide the second and third paddock. And next week we will finish up the last two!
I didn’t get a ton of pictures yet but the first paddock is up! The second is almost finished. We are working on the third the next few days before having to take a week off while pops is away 😊 (then back to it so we can finish the last two before winter)
Just putting up some fences this past week.. and we will be working on it again next week (hopefully not in the rain) 😊
We are starting on the paddocks!! Dirt is all pushed out and the first corner is set! There are 70+ more posts to put in the ground for the perimeter alone so this will be a busy week 😁
Also one wall is (mostly) finished in the arena!
We are finally coming coming to the end of this project!!
The space for the new paddocks are so close to being done, We will be taking down the old fencing this coming week and then replacing everything!
Also we put the floor down in the tack room so our boarders can finally use this space again (we do still have some trim along with closing in the upper walls to finish up)
And the bathroom’s ceiling is finished!
Lincoln has been asking to ride finally! 😍 He had a ride on Sesame the last two times and the week before he rode Frankie! He’s getting more comfortable each time.
