To pay tribute to two of our earliest and most impactful dog volunteers, Skeeter and Tory, who have passed away in recent years, Dogs For Difference made donations to three of the schools that they visited the most, East Broadway, Lake, and Northwood.
Donations included various sensory items that can be used by the students of the school. In honor of the dogs, as Tory was blind and Skeeter was deaf, specific sensory toys were chosen that can be utilized and enjoyed by children with visual or hearing impairments.
We hope the students and staff enjoy these gifts, and we hope they loved having Tory and Skeeter visit as much as they loved visiting ❤️🐶
