Another one of our good friends has suffered a serious brain injury, this one is a serious brain bleed. Vince Mellody is in the hospital, intubated, and will face a lengthy recovery. We’ve set up a Gofundme for him, to assist with expenses.

For their selfless acts of heroism, from the well-trained first responders to everyday people whom we thank and memorialize on this day. May we never forget, nor fail to hold accountable each human responsible for their actions.

Performed an emergency ceiling repair after a PEX line burst above a garage ceiling. Interestingly enough, the leak was NOT from a joint, but actually through the point in the pipe that must have been stressed at some point, or just a defect. The home is listed for sale and with a showing on Monday, we were able to get it done after we got the call Saturday morning.

A bit unconventional at times—and often out of the way—we take steps to reduce waste from construction activities. It didn’t take but a little extra effort to separate the steel studs from demo debris, fold them up and place into a recycle bin.

Did a little refinishing of a front door that went far too long without maintenance. Gave ‘er a few more years. Also replaced a window that was broken; nothing fancy this time, but a lot better to have a window covering that big hole in your house! Quite an upgrade, really 🥸🤯🧐🏌️‍♂️
