Just Garden
Building a just food system and culture of gardening for all people. Each garden is custom built with a Just Garden volunteer and the gardener.
Just Garden builds subsidized raised beds for low-income families and marginalized people throughout Washington. These gardens provide families and communities with self-sufficient access to highly nutritious, organic food. More than just food, these gardens contain the potential to grow our human capacity for faith, hope, love and generosity.
Here's where we are at. About 10 varieties of tomatoes. Black Krim & Cherokee Purple, My two favorite early seasoned darker toned beef steaks. Cherry Tomatoes = Sun Gold (aka "Gardener crack"😁), Yellow Pear (not my fav but some people like them), and Washington Cherry.
Brads Atomic Grape, and Pink Berkeley slicers are pretty and tasty. I have Japanese black trifele plum. Sorry I don't have any Roma's this year. I can get them for you if you really want.
Red slicers early season with flavor .
Oregon Spring, Moskovich
I know there's one or two variety of tomatoes that I forgot that I'll update tomorrow morning.

Peppers. Mini chocolate bells, Jimmy Nardelos, red Thai peppers, and Padrons. I might have some regular bell peppers hiding that haven't been potted up yet.
Summer Squash- Costa romanesca, and black beauty unless it was some other basic green variety. Patty pans*, + 1 other
Winter squash= Black Futsu, Delicata, Butternut, Hubbard,
Eggplant=limited supply of Japanese ready and one other smaller variety all update name in morning.
Watermelons= Minnesota midget and some other smaller Russian variety whose name all update in the morning.... I'm excited about these!
I also just potted up some cauliflower plugs two to three and a half inch pot.. If you like to eat cauliflower you should grow it! It's delicious and expensive to buy.
18 plants in a usually $72.
Venmo me $48 by 4.26 for the deal!
Then Message me which items you want so I reserve them. They'll be some limits on stuff like purple basil because I don't have too much, But I have plenty of everything else.
People in the Columbia River Gorge can pick up their plants whenever. I suggest mother's Day for most of this stuff based on weather and soil temperatures. Tomatoes like 50° nights same with basil.
Portlanders- it will be May 5th-10th
Seattlites- I will be there after Mother's Day- Stephanie Seliga-Soulseed has more than earned that weekend for HER.
unless I get a big wholesale gig to come through the WEEK before that.
I do have mini hoop house structures I can sell you. They're easy to build.$50 for the PVC pipes nifty garden clips UV rated poly plastic 6mm (The good stuff), and pipe strap so you can mount them to your raised bed. I can get you some rebar stakes for slight up charge.
Besides all of the hot crops mentioned above we have tons of perennial raspberries blueberries fruit trees etc etc etc. store Link in comments
I do want to give a shout out to the universe for sending some great helpers lately. I was terribly far behind and the team has pulled it together.
This is all been going on while I've been serving in a different role this Spring, so kudos to the workers who've done the grunt work.
