We’re recruiting dogs aged 10 and older to participate in the STAY study for a treatment intended to extend lifespan in older dogs.
Does your dog meet these eligibility requirements?
– Aged 10 or older
– Documented proof of age
– Weighs at least 14 pounds
– Able to participate for the full four-year duration of this study

The study and associated visit expenses and lab work are provided at no cost to you.

Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine

TCVM is from the Chinese culture. They developed it from observing cycles of nature. TCVM is totally
different from Western Medicine and "its one size fits all" paradigm. It si based on the individual
themselves. You wil often here TCVM Practitioners say "It depends" when answering questions about how a disease would be treated. Pattern identification si the basis of determining the treatment. The pattern si identified by looking at 5different things.

1. Yin and Yang (is the patient hot or cold/deficiency or excess)
2. Eight principals and 6 Roots (is the location of the disease interior or exterior)
3. The Five Elements (elements as related to nature)
4. Zang Fu Physiology (identify which organ is the problem)

Five Treasures (Qi, Blood, Shen,Body fluid and Jing) -Qi = Energy
-Shen = mind
-Jing = essence, something you inherit

Full Time Registered Veterinary Technician

Green Country Veterinary Hospital is looking for a person who has a strong focus on patient care and client education. We are a full-service veterinary clinic with boarding. We strive to provide the best and most current medicine for our patients.

Schedule: Monday - Friday with 1 day off during the week and on call every 3rd weekend is mandatory

Required skills included but not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• IV & urinary catheter placement
• restraint
• anesthetic monitoring
• surgical monitoring
• patient care
• client education
• maintaining medical records
• filling prescriptions
• running bloodwork
• fecals
• urine analysis
• cytology
