We’re not exactly in the business of mental health. But we’ve learned that communication, leadership, and mental health are inextricably linked… in the workplace and beyond. Organizations that ignore this reality do so to their own detriment. 🧠

We DO help leaders and their teams communicate more effectively. If you’d like to know more about how we do it, just send us a message! 📧

Does your workplace prioritize its employees’ mental health?

I absolutely love working with visionary leaders and mid-career professionals who are brave enough to take the risks necessary to reinvent themselves. Coaching has provided me the adventurous and globally-focused career I’ve always wanted. ✨ So grateful.

Thank you to Ty Aiken and Justin Spinner of ETA Chapter 100 Foundation for their donation of 14 laptops 💻 to community organizations and individuals doing great things! I felt like a fairy godmother 🧚🏾 delivering these all over town. These devices went to Greensboro Housing Authority, Black Child Development Institute Greensboro, Compass Greensboro, and North Carolina A&T State University students.

In July 2020, Zitty launched the Ukuvusa Podcast with Dr. Z at the invitation of her friend, Kisha Love Alston, who started the network. The program – inspired by the Zulu word for “awaken” — explores human transformation. It features in-depth conversations with Zitty and people from across the community, talking about their personal journeys.

“It’s all about awakening to different aspects of the human experience. I invite people who are willing to be vulnerable,” Zitty says.

Y’all. I am really trippin thinking about God’s plans, my participation, and divine timing. ✨ Two years ago I taught my first embodied leadership class at and got a taste of what it could be like to weave together all the most powerful concepts and ideas I’ve collected throughout this journey.

Today, amidst a pandemic, the door has opened to do it as an entrepreneur through AND I get to partner with my other alma mater to share how dance has helped me to re-learn my body’s power during some of my darkest times. Process is real, and patience is vital.

The young women of Zodwa are creative, hilarious, kind, and under great pressure to perform well over and over again under extraordinary circumstances. I consider myself blessed to be able to walk through my own healing as I get to support them through theirs.

We need our community’s support!! We’re hosting a RAFFLE — Tickets are $10 but gifts of all sizes are welcomed. CashApp: $ZodwaLLC

There are some life events that permanently change us, from which there is no going back to the way things were.

This is different from life changes that we seek and that we try to implement.

Sometimes, in the blink of an eye, beyond our control... unwanted change is thrust upon us.

What do you do when you can not go back to the way things were? How do you accept these changes to your life that you didn’t want?

It’s such an painful state of being- living in a present moment you wish was different- wanting to go back to the way things were when that is no longer an option.

If you are in this same space in life, please know you are not the only one. So many of us are facing this at this very moment... as you face today, with all it’s uncertainty and unfamiliarity, please know you are not alone 💞

Cultural Entrepreneur Mindset Workshop 25/01/2021

**REGISTER TODAY** Spaces are limited.

Join us for an upcoming 5-week study called "Cultural Entrepreneur Mindset," based on the book, "Who Owns the Ice House? Eight Life Lessons from an Unlikely Entrepreneur," by Clifton Taulbert and Gary Schoeniger.

The workshop shares life lessons from an unlikely entrepreneur, Uncle Cleve, an African American who started an Ice House in lower Mississippi during the 1950’s. Cindy Thompson (Boundless Impact) and Zitty Nxumalo are certified Ice House Entrepreneurship Mindset Facilitators, and the training focuses on the critical mindsets and life skills necessary to start your own firm, side gig, initiative or advance in your career.

The foundation of the course will be on 8 entrepreneurial mindsets: Choice, Opportunity, Action, Knowledge, Resourcefulness, Reliability, Persistence, and Community.

This workshop will be facilitated as a 5-week online class beginning March 4 through April 1. It will be held through Zoom on Thursday evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The class will be a small group experience including book study, videos, discussion questions and mindfulness practices.

The only cost to participants is to purchase the book that goes along with the training. Registration and more information can be found here. Participants only need to register for the first date, and will need a computer or tablet with a camera and speaker, and reliable internet connection.
