When the oldest sister was 2 years and 9 months old, and the middle sister was 1 year and 6 days old, this sister was added to
mix!! Karen Lynne - Gordon Sister #3! Her mind was full of adventures to be had, and she
often wrote them down. Perhaps that’s why she became an editor and writer extraordinaire!! And she continues to approach her whole life as one big adventure! Nothing is too dull or mundane for her to find wonder and joy in it! Karen is greatly beloved by her blood family, her friends, her Pampered Chef associates, and her church family! Join us in wishing this incredible, intelligent, positive-thinking, hard-working, beautiful sister, Happy Birthday!!

While we understand we should not add anything to scripture, we are so glad that God added Karla to our family on this day!
She is a compassionate and loving lady who gives tirelessly even when she is tired: She pastors a church in the inner city of Aurora; she is a friend of the children and families from many nations near the church; she goes out of her way to make sure that those sitting beside her in a card game will get the cards they need so they don’t lose too badly; AND she is responsible for getting that first Gordon Sisters project “Come let’s Sing” from the idea stage into reality; she even wrote the words and music to the title track, among others. We know this already seems like a lot, but there is so much more to our sister Karla!
We wanted you to know so you could join our family in wishing Karla a very happy birthday!

Today, we celebrate the milestone birthday of our youngest sister, Kendra ( #6). We pray that her day is just as amazing as she is because she is SUCH an incredible blessing to us and to so many others!

This is the day we celebrate Sister #2. Ten years ago Karla was 55 and battling cancer. We are so grateful for God’s plan unfolding so beautifully in her life—she is cancer-free and her life and ministry is a testimony of God’s faithfulness!
