👻The Annual Conshohocken Halloween Parade is this Saturday, 4 p.m. at the Mary Wood Park House! 🎃

Registration for the costume contest runs from 3 to 3:45 p.m.

Notes from October’s council meetings:

🚔 Swearing in of a new Fire Police member, thank you for stepping up to serve and good luck in this incredibly important role!
🏞️ Council interviewed candidates for the Vacancy Board, Friends of Conshohocken Parks Committee, and Zoning Hearing Board
🧑‍💼We were joined by members of our business community to read a proclamation and celebrate Conshohocken Business Women’s Week, October 20 - 26
🪧 Discussion of a new welcome sign for the Borough to be placed by the Matsonford Bridge
📈 Council interviewed three marketing companies with incredibly exciting visions to help make borough communications more engaging and effective
📂 Discussion of new procedures for Right-to-Know requests that includes submitting a specified form and ensuring all requests have someone specific to send information to (as opposed to anonymous requests)
💵 Council approved three grant applications: two pertaining to the Fayette Street Road Diet and one for funds for the Weinmann Park Improvement Project
🏡 Council Matters: the roof on Mary Wood Park House was replaced and there are more renovations to come through the Mary Wood Park Commission
🐣 Mayor Matters: A successful Conshohocken FunFest, PD Shredding, Conshy Strong Bingo, Pumpkin Painting at the Community Center, EAC's Conshy Cleanup, the Halloween Parade is this Saturday the 19th, and Sarah and I are expecting baby #2!

Thank you to HeartWorks and Beats for Bella for hosting Feel the Beat Family Day at the Conshohocken Community Center at the Fellowship House! The event brought together heart families and professionals from all over the country! ❤️💪

Refreshments and prizes will follow the parade at Mary Wood Park House.
