Today I turned 31. I will drink some kava, I took my dogs for a nice walk with my wife, and I’ve done some work.

Only thing I would change would be if I could have a shell with each of you!!!

I know that can’t happen, but you can still shellebrate, and it doesn’t even need to be my birthday that you’re Shellebrating.

Thanks for sharing your travels Hunter Hafer and making the trip to connect our community across states, couldn't have found a better person to embody the positivity and love of the kava community.

Hunter has made it to Michigan along the way he stopped at a couple bars. He also took a little time to share a shell and some time with someone close to his heart. My heart swells to know he is surrounded by people that care about him. Enjoy your time brother!

There is an incoming video of him shellebrating a safe journey and time with loved ones. He might even have found a muddy buddy to drink kava with when he goes back home.

One last family dinner before Hunter Hafer leaves on the great Northern Kava Pilgrimage. He has his supplies. Tomorrow he heads up to Michigan to re-outfit his Toyota Corolla to become a temporary home and base of operations.

A quick, fun, and light info sheet on kava.

We don’t sell kratom presently, and truly are not anywhere near as passionate about it as we are kava.

But I still think it’s important to shed light on what’s going on within the kratom industry as it is so intertwined with kava bars in particular.

This is a link to the FDA’s claims that a kratom product killed someone.

There is also some testing that has been applied for in March of 2024 on the Abuse potential of kratom.

It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Safety Alert FDA is advising consumers not to consume OPMS Black Liquid Kratom, which has been linked to serious adverse health effects, including death.

We got our own HUGE set of directions to build a bar. Now we can finally get back to work!

We had some friends over before the 4th to finally get them around to trying our kava. They were having family over for the holiday and wanted an alcohol alternative.

We made them kavaritas and shared a few traditional shells. When they left we sent them with a kit to prepare kava for their 4th of July get together.
