Kookers Kare Inc.(501(c)(3)) is a group of charitable volunteers aiding those in need! We are also an integral part of KCBS.
We provide freshly cooked and non-perishable food to food pantries such as the Harvesters Food Network.

Kookers Kare would like to thank all the teams and vendors that donated extra food to our Food Rescue this weekend at the American Royal World Series BBQ Contest. Congrats to all the teams that had their names called. We collected over 4,700 pounds of the best BBQ in the world. That will feed a lot of food insure families in and around the Kansas City area. A special thanks to all the volunteers that helped us with the collections and to the American Royal team and KCBS that helped make this all possible.

I’d like to thank all of the people that purchased ribs from our March rib cook. As usual we sold out and it was you that made our event a success.
I would also like to thank Sugar Creek, Sam’s Club and Midwest Mex - http://midwestmex.com/ for helping us with our fund raising efforts.
My personal thanks to all the volunteers that came out to help and to Joe and John for the use of their smokers and their time. I am grateful to be associated with the members of our committee, without your commitment to Kookers Kare we could never get these events off the ground.

Kookers Kare is holding it's semi-annual rib cook on April 8, 2023. Ribs can be purchased on line at https://kookerskare.com/rib-sales/ They can be picked up after 3:00 PM on that Saturday afternoon. Order soon as we usually sell out before the cook date.
