Dived into scrap stash to create this little beauty for my niece’s baby. They chose not to know the s*x ahead of time so I went neutral. The theme of the baby shower had nature and leaves. This pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful popped into my mind. A client of mine made it in a large quilt so I did my thing and made it into the size I needed for a baby quilt.
Used Quilters Dream 80/20 Select batting, Mettler silk finish cotton thread on top and Superior SoFine thread on bottom.

I made these 3 quilts for my three daughters this past Christmas. Each quilt incorporates embroidery blocks partially stitched by their grandma Bonnie before she went home to be with the Lord in 2008. I finished the blocks and added 9-patch blocks to complete the quilt tops. I used some digital directed stitching and hand guided stitching to finalize the projects of love.

Autumn is officially here in Nebraska and the leaves are turning. I had the privilege of quilting this fantastic fall quilt for Becky.

The binding is on and as promised I'm showing the full quilt. This quilt was a redesign of May Pole Quilt by SuzyQuilts. I bought the pattern, because that is what you do, and then started to figure out how to make a square quilt into a rectangle quilt. This is going to be for our grandson Theo - He is moving into a big bed!
The redesign was a challenge but with Electric Quilt 8 I was able to manipulate pieces around to create a plan. I am very happy with the result.
Fabrics from Dear Stella and Moda. Pantograph used is Malachite. Batting is Quilter's Dream 80/20.

Working on a big boy quilt for grandson Theo. He’s moving up to a twin sized bed. Quilt pattern is an adaptation of Maypole Quilt by SuzyQuilts. I put EQ8 software to work to transform a square quilt into a rectangle 🤔 The bias edges were touchy when putting it on the quilting frame.

Progress on the Celestial Stripes Quilt. Arranging blocks and ready to sew them together.

Doing a little hotel quilting while hubby is at a business conference. I’m using Celestial Stripes pattern by Zen Chic which uses a jelly roll. It’s going quickly. I may get to my second project 😃
