A project we recently completed. Flooring is 5" white oak - character grade. The curved front of the stage was a challenge. The way we did the curved tread and the risers was inspired by a suggeston from Abigail, one of our key employees. Joe, Jake and Mark all gave great effort to this endevour. The box in the floor was added for the audio jacks etc. We wanted to add some flair, so we used maple for the hinged top and made the frame around with purpleheart.

Something we recently finished up - 6" white oak, character grade, natural finish satin sheen.

Just wrapped up a nice refinish project. Customer wanted the floors stained a little darker than they currently were. We picked a stain color that was more brown and had less yellow in it. The wood is beautiful red oak, rift and quartersawn. Such wonderful figuring in the floors.

It never ceases to amaze me what people will do to a wonderful hardwood floor. This floor got covered in lino probably close to 100 years ago. The homeowner pulled up the linoleum. Look what was underneath and what we were able to do with it.

We finished this recently. White oak floors with Linen White stain and satin, crystal clear, water base finish. We haven't done any white/pastel colors in a while and just did 2 in a row..We were very pleased with how this came out.

If you have an older home from the 1920's - 1940's and have hardwood stairs, there is a good chance the stair treads are birch. This is what they could look like if they were refinished and stained. Notice the subtle figuring in the wood.
