Located on campus at Florida Gulf Coast University, FGCU Rugby is a competitive Sport Club that competes with other Florida Universities. Practice Schedule (Fall 2015):

We have news to share:
As the 2020 season is about to begin, we’ve moved up into the D1-AA Division of Men’s Collegiate Rugby.
We’ve also changed conferences moving from the National Small College Rugby Organization (NSCRO) to Florida Collegiate Conference (FCC).

Part of building a rugby club is giving back and growing this great game. Our men’s team traveled over 100 miles this morning to Naples to work with the talented FGCU Rugby team that now includes Okapi alum Diego Loyola.
Under the sweltering Saturday sun, our eclectic mix of veterans and new players got a chance to work alongside the next generation of Florida rugby stars. Though our quest to battle it out in a friendly scrimmage was stopped by Mother Nature, it was an incredibly rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Special shoutout to Coach Matthew Hayden for leading the session and sharing his knowledge, passion and humor. We wish the FGCU boys good luck this season and look forward to growing our bond with one of the many exciting college rugby programs around the state. Even lightning can’t stop Saturday from being a Rugby Day!

Attention Friends, Family and The Rugby Community!
Congratulations to two of our 2017 Starting players, Colin O'Dell ( #8) and Merrick Fuchs ( #12) in their participation with the Copperheads RLFC match this Saturday against Tampa Mayhem Rugby League!
Come watch them both start with Colin wearing number 13 while Merrick joins him wearing number 11! This is the second time our players have started for this new Rugby League Club!
Information for the games location and more are attached below! Reminder, Kickoff is at 6:30 PM so don't be late!!
Copperheads RLFC fans, Footy (Rugby League), Food Trucks & Fun for the Kids community event at Lehigh Senior looks to be a dry one. We have ABC's Bounce Houses LLC bringing a Slide, and Bounce House Combo. The Food Trucks on deck for tomorrow feature Jonesez BBQ, Kona Ice of South Central Ft. Myers, Dairy Free Island Smoothie Bar, and Uncle Mikey's Food Truck. Then the post-game social will be at Palm City Brewing and Aurelio's Pizza of Fort Myers will be providing the food for the players.

Attention all ruggers, fans and alumni! In a partnership with Titan Rugby we are now selling our warmup shirts to the public for the next two weeks. They go for $15 each and are as clean as it gets. We can do cash or for those out of the area you can venmo it to and message Blake Samaha with your name and size. A little extra information, they are standard loose-fit polyester.

Hey rugby fans and players alike. We have some good rugby coming this saturday! The Naples Hammerheads are playing Miami's mens team at 2pm at Estero community park, behind the hill. After theres gonna be some more rugby featuring your favorite eagle ruggers against Ave Maria in a friendly spar. Shenanigans are sure to follow!! Cheers
Hey Eagle Fans, Alumni and Players. Another semester brings more exciting rugby in southwest Florida. Our first game is a home matchup against a very young UM team on January 28th. The more the merrier, all are welcome to join the team. Rugby is a very high impact and physically draining sport but also incredibly rewarding. Hope to see some new faces this semester.
Attention all current and former ruggers, on October 1st at 2pm. We will be hosting a match consisting of the Balding Eagles (specifically Craig) vs FGCU eagles. This will be at the pop warner fields off of williams road.
