Book packets were sent home with each student this week for summer reading. Please encourage your child to read their grade level assigned book this summer as well as complete the
activities within the bag. If they return them in August at Open House or when school begins, they will be eligible for prizes. Happy Summer Reading!

Congratulations to the 5th Grade Students in Ms. Kromer's Social Studies Classes! They received certificates for completing the We the People Program. Special thanks to Mr. Glenn Manns for sponsoring the event.
We have 65 Summer Go Pantry food boxes available for students in Owen County Schools. We will distribute on May 31, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 at Owen County High School door #5. Please only come if your family is in need because we have a limited number available and want to ensure the food is used. Thank you!

The 8th Grade attended a We the People Recognition Lunch for their hard work during their We the People Hearings in Mr. Joel Shutt’s Social Studies Class. A very special thanks to Glenn Manns for sponsoring the event as well as all the special guests who spoke to the students about the importance of civic education.

SBDM Parent Represenatives elected for a one year term are Ed Bourne and Chris Rice.
KSA State Testing begins at MBMS tomorrow, May 7. Remember to have your child get a good night's rest as well as eat a healthy breakfast. We are so proud of our MBMS Rebels! Do your best on the test!!!
