Good morning, everyone. This is just an update on the (re?) opening of the salon......As of today, I finally got approval on the building. I am beyond excited!!! However, there is a lot of work to be done and tentative opening date will be March 1st. I will hopefully be grooming dogs in the meantime, but not a full time basis as of yet. Coleigh will be joining me and will continuing her training with Tammy. She will do amazing. Please continue to follow on this page until I get the new FB page up and running under BOOP THE SNOOT GROOMING. The new address will be: 325 S MILL STREET MANNING. Hello Everyone, this is Tammy. With Cheryl having issues with getting open I wanted to let you all know where you can find me. I am at wolfgang Bakery and Grooming downtown Charleston on King St. (843) 952-7400. I work Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. If you decide to book, just tell them you are clients of mine and you wat to schedule with me. I know most can't make that trip but if anyone would like to come King St has alot to browse and eat while you wait. I am doing one on one grooming with no other distractions so they wait is less. On average a small dog takes me 1 - 1.5 hrs. A large doodle/poodle take 2 - 2.5 hours depending on the coat and dry time. I'd love to see you there!!

****To all of Plush Paws clients and their wonderful pups. I am sorry to say that due to having a very hard time getting my business license and LLC, we will not be able to open up as of right now. I am diligently working on it and hope to open as soon as February 1, 2024. Unfortunately, if things don't work out with the state and the license, I will try my best to be open by March 1, 2024. Please, if you have any questions or need a referral for a groomer for the time being, please PM me. I will be more than happy to answer any questions. Thank you for the understanding.

EVERY 3RD SATURDAY 8-1
***If more Saturday hours are needed, they will be added.

***Tammy will be grooming/teaching on Tuesday and Wednesday, and will be available from 8-4.

***Coleigh will be bathing Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Tammy will be teaching her to grooom Tuesday and Wednesday.

Good afternoon and Happy New Year!!! As 2023 comes to an end, a grooming era comes to an end, as well. Plush Paws will say goodbye to Tammy as a full-time owner/groomer, and I will be taking over that roll. Tammy will be grooming and teaching Coleigh on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you don't know me, my name is Cheryl Miller. I have been a full-time groomer for the past 18 plus years. My beginning started at Petsmart (4 yrs), Petco (@9 yrs) and several small town private grooming salons since then. I was a Salon Leader for 8 of the 9 yrs at Petco, as well as a Grooming Teacher and Mentor to many new Groomers. I had the highest % sales in the NNY Petco for 3 years in a row, highest % in health and safety for pets, and followed policy and procedures to a "T". I decided that when my family moved to SC, the corporation world was not for me anymore. I tried a few small private salons and came upon Plush Paws a year and a half ago. Tammy welcomed me with open arms and we clicked right away. I was honored that she even considered me to take over the business. I will run the salon with as much love and compassion as she would, if not more. Your pet is your family and I will treat them as such. I honor the saying, "Humanity over vanity.", as the health and safety of your pup is my top priority. I hope to see all of our clients in the New Year!!!

Well today is done and my last day as a business owner. I found after 6 years of struggle I am not a business person. I appreciate all of for your support and trusting me with your fur babies. Every pet I've cared for has a special place in my heart. Grooming is my heart and I am ready to do just that, GROOM. I'm ready to slow down and work on improving my skill.

Cheryl Miller will be opening Plush Paws Grooming, llc next month. You will be hearing from her soon with updates on hours and such. I wish her all the best and will support her all I can.

Many of you have no clue this Sancuary exist in Summerton, SC. It is ran by one man who loves dogs more then anything in life. If you have free time or have a teenager that could donate some time, there are always things that need done at the Sanctuary. Donation for vet bills, flea & tic protection can be donated directly to Lake Marion Animal Hospital. Bedding, toys (tough chewers), treats, or monetary donations for food can be donated at Plush Paws or by contacting Thomas Lichtenfels. Currently there are 14 dogs at the sancuary, they range from a Chihuahua all the way to a Great Dane. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Good morning. As you may know, I will be taking over Plush Paw in January. Many of you may not know me, so let me introduce myself.

My name is Cheryl Miller. I have been grooming for about 20 years. I started as a bather at Petsmart, went to the Grooming Academy, and groomed there for 4 years. I then went to Petco, was salon manager in 3 different salons, trained many bathers to become groomers, and had the highest safety rating in my region for 2 years. I take extreme pride in the health and safety of your pet. I stayed with Petco on and off for the last 2 years of being there, and my husband was transferred down to SC in 2018. I groomed at Palmetto Farms in Sumter after a stint of attempting to virtual teach during COVID at an after-school program for 2 years. After being at Palmetto Farms and not feeling like I didn't meet my potential there, when I found Plush Paws in Manning. Working here has shown me what it means to be appreciated again for what I do.

I take great pride in the quote, "Humanity over Vanity." I will do what's best for your pet. Sometimes life gets away from us, and things get put on the back burner. We just have to start over....whether it be with the upkeep of your pup, you're wellbeing or just life in general.

I have a client that has 2 female Malsi's she needs to re-home due to some major changes in her life. They are both house broke and would be best if kept together. Good evening! To add on to the post made by Tammy, I just wanted to add that this is an amazing opportunity for myself and my family. After working in the Corporate grooming setting for many years, I have found that a small privately owned salon is the best for me, and has been for the past several years. Many of you know that I was employed at Palmetto Farms as a groomer and the setting was not that ideal. Coming to Plush Paws was the best decision I ever made. I will not be changing any policies, procedures, or pricing in the near future. I feel that they are the best for the business. I pride myself on giving your pet the safest, most comfortable groom possible, and if there is something that you or your pet is uncomfortable with, by all means, discuss it with me. I am always honest and compassionate when it comes to the health and safety of your pet. Coleigh, our bather, will be training to become and amazing groomer and will be doing the larger dogs. As Tammy has stated, she will be training her, and her technique is great. Coleigh will do wonderfully. Bare with us as we transition into the new year and get things rolling. It's is with sadness to announce that I will be closing Plush Paws, llc as of December 31. This has been a long hard decision but due to some personal issues I have chosen to accept a position at Wolfgang Bakery & Grooming in downtown Charleston. My near future goal is to move closer to my children and my new grandbaby.

BUT those of you that have met my salon manager Cheryl Miller she has decided to open Plush Paws Grooming, llc and take over all your pets needs. She will also be doing cats 1 day a week. As of now Coleigh Camp will remain bathing and stepping into grooming training by yours truly!! I will be working alongside Cheryl a few days a week to assist with grooming all my poodles and doodles and helping her get things in order for the transition.
