Spider
Day 2 of as 3d horror renders.
Dream
I figured I could do but with 3D renders.
You didn't think this giant eye just appeared in the middle of nowhere, did you? They f**k with cities too.
Tactical AF
I've been playing an embarrassingly amount of Call of Duty MW2 lately. I really enjoy the weapon customization and the whole camo grind.
I thought it would be interesting to recreate the Polyatomic camo in Substance Painter.
I'm considering making this into a tutorial just so I can nerd out on making materials.
One last render for 2022
Big ass eyeball eldritch terror one more time.
Midsommar
I still re-watch both of films. Both are amazing in their own way. I personally enjoy the director's cut of Midsommar more than the theatrical due to the extra scenes that really flesh out the dissolution of 's relationship with Christian.
Is this succubus bad for me? I dunno, only way to find out is to let her ruin my life for a bit.
Omg, you can't just ask vegans where they get their protein, Diane!
Kasumi
I used to draw anime characters as a child. Found my old portfolio and reshaded it in my new style. Looks pretty cool, I think.
Bang bang, she shot me down.
I haven't drawn something in a bit. Felt good to take this to the finish line!
The Shape
Second horror icon: Michael Myers
Did you know he was the basis for Ghostface Killer? White face, uses knives.
How to make a Jason Voorhees Mask!
Here's the process for creating the Jason mask. It's honestly not too difficult. It's really just a bunch of pushing polys around until they look like a flattened face.
Now, the UV unwrapping... That's a pain. But I'm also a huge newb.
Horror Icons | Jason Voorhees
Felt the itch to start making somewhat consistent art again. I've been crafting a presentation for creating horror using Zbrush, Substance Painter, and Cinema 4D.
I'm giving myself the task of recreating horror icons and running each through this pipeline to work out any kinks. Apparently, the holes in the mask make it extremely difficult to UV Unwrap, which I didn't know before!
I honestly always feel like I have no idea what I'm doing inside zbrush, but somehow, the sculpts always seem to come out pretty alright. I'm hesitant to call myself "good" at zbrush. But it's honestly like drawing at this point.
I found the Backrooms. Music man was in there, that f**kin sneaky mf
Check out the process for making the animation for Gumdrop Angel using Zbrush, Substance Painter, Cinema 4D and Unreal Engine 5.
Gumdrop Angel
Turned the book cover into a 3d animation!
Lots of zbrush, Cinema4d and Unreal Engine 5
Fighting evil by moonlight
Winning love in the daylight
Sailor Neptune (the fem gay one)
TOMIE
I can't draw manga ladies without drawing my favorite manga artist's most famous female character.
Fu**in love
Redrew the art from and gave it my manga spin on it.
Gregory, I have a bad feeling.
I've had this idea to take the Security Breach collectible stature and turn it 3D. Then I got carried away and gave it a camera move that circles the entire set.
And wanna hear the crazy part? I did this in Unreal Engine 5!
HIS THRONE
I'm a fan of . I love the imagery of the moon being a source of terror. Anyway, felt like making my own Eldritch-flavored horror.
Goddamn it, I told you to stop f**kin around with cosmic horror s**t!
Mad Science VOL 1
Our mad scientist is building a monster, but first, he needs to build a brain. With his trusty re-agent Dipoxin, he has the tool for creating life.
Huge thanks to , , , & for giving me the best feedback. I tried incorporating everything they suggested and it came out so much better because of it.
Awesome sound design by
Here's a short teaser I edited for my upcoming series I'm calling "Mad Science". It'll be a series of vignettes taking place inside a mad scientist's laboratory.
Sound on please 🔊🔊
First entry in the series will release next week.
