Today we would like to highlight Opus40 Sculpture Park in Saugerties, NY. Opus 40 was created by sculptor and quarryman Harvey Fite. It comprises a sprawling series of dry-stone ramps, pedestals and platforms covering 6.5 acres of a bluestone quarry. A great place to spend a summer day! ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

In August, our Biography book club will be reading King Leopold's Ghost: A Story of Greed, Terror, and Heroism in Colonial Africa detailing the exploitation of the Congo Free State by King Leopold II of Belgium.
