Telling the story of how grapes transform into wine is a much more effective way to connect with consumers rather than posting bottle shots. However, it can be overwhelming to worry about taking pictures and videos, optimizing them for the various social media platforms, then getting them posted with captions. If your winery needs help figuring out what to post, or just needs to hire someone else to get it done, please reach out to me. It’s my favorite time of year to visit wineries and capture winemaking in action.

"The decision to include ingredient labels was both proactive and responsive to consumer interest. Over the past few years, Copain has observed a significant shift in consumer behavior, with more people wanting to know exactly what they're putting in their bodies. This trend is evident not just in the wine industry, but across all food and beverage sectors." Interesting article by Tamara Turner for Wine Business.

We are honored to be included for the 3rd year in a row! This year, we received the Slow Wine Bottle Prize for our state grown Gamay Noir, Grüner Veltliner, and Viognier.
2021 Gamay Noir:
“Grown on a southern slope in the upper block above the winery, grapes are hand picked then fermented and aged in concrete cubes, 65% whole cluster. Beautiful cherry flavors, plum, and hints of cooling herbal notes culminate in a delightful fresh and savory sip.”
2022 Grüner Veltliner:
“The first grapes picked went into a concrete egg for leanness and structure. The second picking went into acacia puncheons. The result is a juxtaposition between energetic freshness and weightiness with beautiful melon and chalky minerality.”
2022 Viognier:
“We agree with James that Viognier from this area has ripe aromatics yet retains acidity. This tongue tingler offers nice peach up front, citrus notes, and marzipan.”
Thank you Slow Wine! 🥂
