The Merry Mischief Bakers worked over 2,000 hours on our 2021 Grand Prize entry for the The National Gingerbread House Competition at The Omni Grove Park Inn.

When the Merry Mischief Bakers successfully defended our national championship, our back-to-back win became only the second such occurrence in the 29 year history of this venerable competition. The National Gingerbread House Competition at
The Omni Grove Park Inn is steeped in tradition. One notable tradition occurs after the awards ceremony. The winner from the prior year removes their gingerbread entry so the winner from the current year can place theirs in the display case where it will remain for hotel guests and visitors to admire throughout the next year. When the Merry Mischief Bakers successfully defended our national championship, our back-to-back win became only the second such occurrence in the 29 year history of this venerable competition. We are thrilled and so appreciative of Michael Oppenheim Photography to have photos of the historic moment when we removed our 2020 Grand Prize entry and replaced it with our 2021 Grand Prize entry.
