Happy Earth Day!!š š¦The marine iguanas in the Galapagos were so fun to watch. They swim using their tails and eat algae off rocks underwater then sunbath to warm up for digestion. These photos were taken at Tortuga bay where we did not see any tortugas.
Dinosaurs do exist!!! Well, at least giant tortoises do and it was amazing to seem them so close in the wild at in the highlands of the Galapagos. They are huge and so old! It was cools to hear how the Galapagos island name originated from these giant tortoises.

Encountering the sea lions was another favorite part to the GalƔpagos Islands. They are everywhere! We went snorkeling off some rocky shores with a sea lion family. It was so cool to see how big they are up close! You can even sit on a bench next to a sleepy sea lion.
I was told before going to the GalƔpagos Islands that you have close interactions with wildlife. I was not expecting to be so close to the birds! They were everywhere and not shy from the camera. I really enjoyed attempting to photograph each one I saw. I did however miss the yellow-finch but they are so pretty to see flutter around the bushes. The pelican is definitely my favorite bird! They are social, graceful but yet clumsy at the same time. We also spotted a blue-footed boobie sitting on a rock while snorkeling.
A few landscape views from the beautiful city of Quito, Ecuador. Quitoās elevation is about 9,350 feet! We took the Teleferico to go up even higher for the best view.
A highlight for me this past weekend in Charlotte was spending time with my extended family and sharing an Airbnb with my little nephew. He sure is stinkinā cute! Which is good because the 5:30 am wake up cries come fast and loud! Itās also fun watching my little sister be a mom. Of course I had to set up a portrait session with my buddy!
Today, my family will celebrate the life of my grandfather, Bim. He lived a full and beautiful life to 101 years young. The stories and experiences he would share with us seemed endless. There was always a new story mixed in with some repeating ones but it was always a joy to hear him speak. I feel so incredibly lucky to have had this type of person in my life. He taught me so many different life-lessons that I am just now understanding. I am so thankful for all my time spent with him and I know he is happy to be with my grandma.
Some of the last scenes of 2023 were spent watching the sun, the moon, and the stars by the sea. Happy New Year and I really look forward to many new adventures to come in 2024!

It takes an armful of love to carry veggies from Love is Love Farm CSA basket! Itās national CSA week and I am incredibly thankful to have access to one of the best farms. Local Community supported agriculture is the best way to get fresh veggies and support local economies!
Fresh new year, fresh new headshots! Itās always a great time to get some update portraits and especially at the beginning of a new year. Conner is a professor of law and needed some updated portraits for his freelance work.
Engagement sessions in Piedmont Park are my favorite!! I donāt know why I always take Piedmont Park for granted being so close to it in the city. It provides to most dreamy backdrops for romantic couples. I am excited for Brittany and Rossās wedding next year.
It sure seems like there is no place like Pride Road family farm. Everyone gets to have a helping hand on the farm. is mainly a hibiscus farm but with their new land through the the possibilities are endless. It was a great time meeting their family.
