Cannabis Goes Rec in MO! Fashion Show and Designs by Caroline Williard Couture

I was inspired by Cannabis going recreational in the state of Missouri on February 6, 2023, to quickly create a small line of cannabis-inspired, resort wear clothing involving the use of bright and bold printed fabrics within a 1 month time frame! My photographer and I created high-quality images through photography and graphic editing to produce stunning visuals that were printed directly on the fabrics. Most of these fabrics were sustainable and eco friendly as well.

The collection features corsets, open back dresses, and swimwear, that beautifully showcase vibrant prints from past newspaper articles and current strains of buds. What sets this collection apart are the cannabis-inspired designs, adding a unique and edgy element to the fashion. These designs appeal to those who enjoy experimenting with their style and celebrate the amazing plant that is cannabis. The collection also serves to raise awareness and encourage an end to the prohibition of this very important plant, hopefully soon, everywhere.

Jerry...The last 12 years I knew you, you were nothing but a good friend to all. You always brought others up, never down, could crack a smile on anyone's face even when you didn't feel well and fighting the battle for your life. Always so quick to open your heart and home to models, photographers and friends. I remember when you first contacted me on Model Mayhem asking me if I could help you meet other models and photographers back in 2011. I was there when you had your first lighting lesson, and your first group shoot. Not just memories of shooting me and other models but the ones I have of hot tub and joint times, laughing, bitching about stupid people, dreaming of the future and sharing about the past, randomly grabbing sushi, you playing with my kids, open invitation to your pool even when you weren't home, always encouraging me and selflessly giving of your time and resources even to those who didn't deserve them...are priceless...they are ones I'll never forget. Fly high my friend, until we see each other again. RIP Jerry Steele ❤️

One of my designs from the TV show I was in last year was just published by Prestige Models Red Issue Magazine! 🙌 I picked out this roll of fabric and only had 8 hrs to construct it 😨 but it turned out stunning! 🤩 Nothing 'underwhelming' about this piece, don't you agree? 😁

I live three lives. A Mother, a Realtor®, a Fashion Designer. Of the three, making art with my hands has been around the longest. Since I've had memory it's been my passion, my creative outlet and bringing beauty and joy to others.

So today I'm celebrating another year of this gift of life God has given me and share with the world my talent. Usually I go south, but this time I'm sticking around the good ol cold Midwest, and couldn't think of anything better I'd rather do than throw a fashion show partying with all the ones I love!
